PLEASE don't say you haven't been making frequent back-ups.

I don't know what went wrong, but it shouldn't take a moment to step back to
before the problem arose.

PLEASE don't say you haven't been making frequent back-ups.

I don't know what went wrong, but it shouldn't take a moment to step 
back to before the problem arose.

either you badly named the source at some stage or you've been importing 
gedcoms.

yes it will take a long time to sot out.
