Thanks Brian. It is minor.Because of the complexity of Legacy, if something doesn’t work, I don’t know if it’s me or the program! Re: [LegacyUG] Bibliography Override
Jill, The error you are seeing only seems to apply to the display when you are editing the source details. I tested a report with a bibliography and, although the source detail display showed Birth Certificates in the bibliography preview the report correctly showed Vaccination Certificates in the bibliography per the override I entered for the Master source. Try a report in your system and you should see the correct bibliography entry. Re: [LegacyUG] Bibliography Override
Jill, Don't try to use a Birth Certificate Template. Sometimes you can use a template for other purposes but only if the hard wired bits still fit. eg I can use English census templates for other collections at The National Archives of UK but I couldn't do the same thing with the US Census templates for a US archive as more of the template is hardwired. Any source can be properly handled using one of the generic Source Templates though you may need to understand the source a little more than otherwise. [LegacyUG] Bibliography Override
Hi first Sourcewriter doesn’t have a way to handle Vaccination Certificates issues by government offices in Prussia 1867. So I opted to use the same format as Birth Certificate. However the Bibliography (overridden) for the Master Source does not stay overridden when I go to add the Source Detail. It goes back to the default Bibliography. I went to Assigned Sources/Cite a Master Source/Add/ and filled in the blanks on the Source Info tab. I then went to Override tab and deleted the word birth and typed vaccination. I checked the box for Use this Customized Bibliography on reports. And then hit Save. Re: [LegacyUG] Bibliography
Well, you could just indicate you want a bibliography for a particular individual -- and forego the whole report. Seems simple enough to me. Re: [LegacyUG] Bibliography
I believe the only way is to have it at the end of a report. If you don't have a specific report involved, then how do you determine a Bibliography. The way you are doing it would seem to be just fine and not much of an issue - copy & paste. ___ Leon Chapman chap...@gmail.com - On Wed, Dec 28, 2016 at 7:04 AM, Pat Hickin wrote: > Is there a way to print the bibliography for one individual? [LegacyUG] Bibliography
Is there a way to print the bibliography for one individual? And, if so, how. As it is now, I print an individual report and copy the bibliography into a separate file -- a bit of a nuisance.
