Re: [LegacyUG] Comparing commercial websites
I watched most of the video. Since I've been researching for ~13 years most of the info confirmed what I suspected to be true but I found it VERY informative and would recommend it to new researchers. Re:CE WOODS: I can't fault CE for not clicking on a link that McAfee says is "evil". I use McAfee and occasionally I get those messages too and unless I know for an absolute fact that the site is safe and I've checked that the link is what I expect it to be I wouldn't go there either. In the case of the link in this thread I did not get a warning. Be safe. On Thu, Sep 7, 2017 at 9:25 AM, Ward Walker <wnkwal...@rogers.com> wrote: > VIPRE is a top-rated anti-virus program. I have Malwarebytes and Windows Defender on my PC. Neither one reported any issues with the link. I was able to download the “handout” in PDF format. I removed McAfee from my computer long ago because of the numerous false positives. Ronald Bernier Woonsocket, RI USA Sent from my iPhone > On Sep 7, 2017, at 9:10 AM, Leonard J. I'm not a video watcher either. So many of the ones I've seen could have been cut down. 5 min is my max and frequently I end up "skimming" through the videos! Heck, I have a hard time sitting through my favorite half-hour TV shows! And forget audio books - my mind starts to wander after the first sentence! I'm definitely a reader! S.
