Re: [LegacyUG] Descendants Report-checkmark events for children keeps coming up

2014-06-23 Thread Juergen Amling
After I wrote the email below, the programmers greyed out the option to
include events for children in the Descendants Report and thought this
will solve the problem. It didn't unfortunately. If you click on the "C"
in the report option to clear all the events, it works correctly not to
print children's events, but when you leave the report and come back
later to it, again in prints the children's events if you didn't click
on the "C" box. By the way that happens, even when you save the report
and load it again.
And the children's events only print, if the children have no children
on their own.
I did report the bug, wanted to let others know about this problem

Re: [LegacyUG] Descendants Report-checkmark events for children keeps coming up

2014-04-21 Thread Brian/Support
The problem you reported below has been fixed and will be available in
the next update to Legacy 8.0. I do not know when that update will be
issued. You can check for updates by selecting the Legacy Home tab. The
updates section will tell you when a new update is available and, if you
have the deluxe version, allow you to update from within Legacy.
Standard version users will have to obtain the update from our web site.

Children Events were not supposed to be allowed in any of the Book style
reports so the check box has been disabled.

Re: [LegacyUG] Descendants report

2014-02-09 Thread Wendy Howard
Hi Derek,

Do you get two copies of everything you print, or just this one report?

My printer gets set to automatically print two copies if I choose to
print two copies of something as the job is being sent to the printer in
my accounting program. No idea if that setting sticks with other
programs, as it's only there that I sometimes need two copies of a
single invoice and I don't want to use the 'normal' invoice printing
route where I can specify the number of copies earlier in the routine.
When I do print this way, I have to remember to change it back to
printing one copy with the next printing job, and all is fine again. I
don't always remember!

Hope this helps. :-)
