It may have been created in the notes before a final date change or some other untrackable prior error/edit. If corrected after the note pasted may not get fixed. Graham, If you could offer the PID number, it would be great help if you are using new.familysearch.org. If just using familysearch.org, some names would help. Graham, Without actually seeing the person it's hard to know. Offhand, I would suspect that either there are multiple birth dates for the father, or the son, or perhaps multiple parent links. Do any of those apply? Since it's public data (deceased people) perhaps if you posted the NFS person ID others could look at it and comment.
