I would not try to add the fact that you have a copy of a particular
source to the repository notes. I would add it to either the master
source comments (if the source was a book) or to the details if it is a
certificate or an extract of some records from a larger source.
The repository is like a library which holds many different items
(sources). Notes for the repository were set up to record miscellaneous
things; like operating hours for a bricks and mortar repository, for
which there is no field in the address details. Saying you have a copy
of a source in a repository is like saying you have a copy of Joe Blows
book about your ancestral family from the library of congress.
