Thank you Bruce That makes total sense, would be great if it had a print button in the window though Ta Gwen On 24/02/2011, at 7:09 AM, Bruce Jones wrote: > Not sure if it is just the notes you want to print, but if so, > highlight the notes & use cut and paste to put the information in a > word processor first then print. > > On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 9:24 AM, Cathy-0 > wrote: > Why not print out either a Family Group Sheet for the individual or an > Individual report for the person? Re: [LegacyUG] Printing out events
Thankyou everyone for your wonderful response to my query. I shall try the event report that makes sense, just a pity you need to take another step land not get a good result from the event window itself. Re: [LegacyUG] Printing out events
Not sure if it is just the notes you want to print, but if so, highlight the notes & use cut and paste to put the information in a word processor first then print. Re: [LegacyUG] Printing out events
Why not print out either a Family Group Sheet for the individual or an Individual report for the person? It would include all the events with their notes for the person. - Original Message - From: "Noddie" <7thw...@ihug.co.nz> To: Sent: Tuesday, February 22, 2011 10:40 PM Subject: [LegacyUG] Printing out events > Hi > > I was wondering if whilst in the Edit event window for a person > whether you can print out the info on the > screen without having to go Search | Individual | Event etc. There > does not seem to be an option for this there? > Maybe I missed something. > Thanks for that > Gwen > > > > > Legacy User Group guidelines: > > http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp > > Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: > > http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ > > Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: > > http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ > > Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp > > To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp > > > > Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
Re: [LegacyUG] Printing out events
Not from the Event window, but if you have the Deluxe Edition, you can print an Event Report for a single individual which will include all events or specific ones. The individual needs to be tagged. The Event Report is under the Books/Other tab of the Select a Report window. No, you didn't miss anything. You could use the Windows PrintScreen function, but you might get the complete Event Sentence (I often find there isn't room for all of it on screen) and you might not even get all of the Event Notes if you have entered a lengthy piece of text there. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
[LegacyUG] Printing out events
Hi I was wondering if whilst in the Edit event window for a person whether you can print out the info on the screen without having to go Search | Individual | Event etc. There does not seem to be an option for this there? Maybe I missed something.
