Where are you trying to mark the tick? There are two, one on the individual which is locked once they are married and one on the marriage information screen for the couple. You should be able to tick the "This couple had no children" box on the marriage screen. I have come across a situation where the family member (wife) is the family member and the second wife of the husband. Accordingly I would set this as the preferred marriage. They had no children but I cannot enter this option by way of the tick box. Is this an issue with others?
