Hi, before deleting the "Alt Marriage" event you should first go to View-Master
Lists-Event Definitions-Alt Marriage-Show List and if there is more than one
couple sharing this event than print the names. Go to each couple that has the
Alt Marriage event attached and change the event to "Marriage Event".
Once this is completed go back and follow the above steps, if there is no one
sharing the "Alt Marriage" event than click the options button on the left side
of screen and click delete.

Subject: [LegacyUG] ssistance

Hello folks, I am reviewing ALL of my research and came across an ‘Alt
Marriage” event. The “Marriage” event has the correct Husband and Wife.

I do not know how or when the Alt Marriage event was entered.

I have been trying to delete the “Alt Marriage” event, Leaving only the
“Marriage Event”.

I have tried numerous ways to delete the event, and cannot seem to find the
correct sequence. I am now repeating my efforts.

Can someone PLEASE explain the process for Deleting an erroneous event.

Thanks
