RE: [LegacyUG] Birth Verification Form Citation
Paula, Thank you for the suggestion. That appears like it will work very well. Granted, you can't be positive the Form is an accurate transcription of the Certificate, but it is the best you are going to get. I would trust that source as long as some other source doesn't appear with conflicting information. --Paula in Texas Researching: Adair Baker Beasley Benson Betz Bigley Blagrave Burton Chapman Clement Clough Coppernoll Costine Daulton Dinwiddie Doody Ellis Exline Field Floran Floyd Gates Goodale Gordon Gump Hale Harbaugh Hind Hopkins Hughes Hurdle Jones Klein Koyle Laswell McDonald Misner Passwaters Pelton Roberts Roche Ryburn Short Singer Sullivan Weller Williams Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com). However, they will provide information by way of extraction from the original onto a "Birth Verification Form." Having not been able to see the actual Birth Certificate, I cannot verify that the information provided on the Birth Verification Form is accurate, and some Counties do not keep a registry of births within their respective counties. Therefore, my question is, has should one document this "Birth Verification Form" using the Source Writer templates? I am using the most recent version of Legacy Deluxe, and use the Source Writer for sources and citations. As a side note, these "Verification Forms" are available for Births, Marriages, and Deaths. RE: [LegacyUG] Birth Verification Form Citation
Correction. The fourth line down should read, "How should one document. . . ." instead of "has should one document. . ." I need to do a better job a proof reading before hitting the Send button. My apologies to all.
