RE: [LegacyUG] Moving Legacy 7.5 database to Legacy 8

2014-01-03 Thread Charles Apple
Thanks Jenny, that worked very well. The Event Notes did not display, however,
by default they are turned off. Therefore, I went to Report Options > Include
Tab > Event Options > Other Options and checked Add Event Notes, and VOILA all
of the Event Notes appeared. Thanks again.

Just make as if to open a family file inn Legacy 8 and navigate to your Legacy
7.5 file (which is probably in C:\Legacy\Data). One of the options which will
be offered is to make a copy of that file in the new default location and
convert it to the Legacy 8 format. This is the best option as you will lose
nothing and will still have your original 7.5 file which you can continue to
use in 7.5 if you wish.
