Helen replied "Options, Customize, Show Popup ToolTips (right side of
window near the top)"

Ah, then that's not what I thought you were talking about.  This is the
little popup box that tells you what an icon, etc, is for when you hover
the cursor over it.

I thought we were talking about hints that appear when the program was
started up - didn't we used to have that feature, or am I thinking of
something else?

A better option would be to invest in the training CDs. They are chock full
of good information and examples of using the various parts of the program.
An absolute worthwhile investment in my book.
