 Good Luck
Thank you for responding, Henry. The reason for my concern was that I
have not added or removed any people from my data in over two months and
this is the first time I have had this to happen.

Lloyd,

Did you check that maybe they just did not show up in an index view but
were really still there,
and would show in the index view after a check repair rebuilt all the
indexes?

I have noticed this for new records and that is why I daily run a check
repair

(this is not a bug, any index view is just that, a quick viewing of the
last index built, and not a listing of all records)

Are there anyone else having the same problem?

I'm not aware of any problem, although I haven't actually checked, but
why do you not have a backup to restore? You should always back up
before making changes to your family file such as running Check/Repair
or installing an update.

Lloyd,

Those would be empty records that would be fixed if you run a Renumber
RINs

I just now checked and my record count for indiv was 230183

but when I went to look at the list I see 230185

Then run the renumber RINs, it found 2

Now both the list and general info screen match indiv.

Double check that you are loading the same file where you made the
changes. Maybe you did a 'save as without realizing it after making
the changes? Or maybe you opened a different file when you were doing
your changes?
