Oh, I hear you.

I started putting genealogy on my computer in the early 1970s, before computer
software had been developed. Reels and logging in to the university because no
personal computers, which is, very unfortunately, where we seem headed now.
Programs don't have to make things more complicated in order to accomplish
more, but most programmers don't seem to deal with that.

Ah well. Paper, parchment, and clay tablets have lasted and will last much
longer than computer programs or media. Organizing and searching are the strong
points of programs.

Re: [LegacyUG] Report question

2016-01-14 Thread Pat Hickin
Sandy, At the top of the Family View screen, If you click on the
View tab and choose Master Lists > Source [Master Source List] and
highlight a source, then click on the "Show List" button at the right, you
will get a list of individuals who use that particular source (usually
among others).

Is that what you're looking for?

Re: [LegacyUG] Report question

2015-07-01 Thread Sherry/Support
What you can do is create the Relationship Report to CSV and do a count in
Excel using a "CountIf" statement or sorting the report by relationship and
counting each group that way.

Thelma,

I have been looking at the 112 reports that Legacy creates, but I am sorry
to say none of them give counts by relationships.
