However, current interpretation is that geocoding location of features by
using OSM map makes the database where features are stored ODbL. Therefore
the NatureShare database about the bird observations should be ODbL too. By
reading the Terms Of Use of the site it obviously is not. Perhaps you should
send another nice email and inform them. Probably they will then use only
Google maps in their application.
