WTB: PCI-X board with SATA-3 or (SATA-2 if that's only what's available) or . . .
Title pretty well says it all. OR . . . a PCI-X adaptor board that will allow other boards to be used that do have SATA-3. Would prefer board to go to 2.5" SATA interface, but will accept spinning 5" hard drive SATA interface, probably just a different cable needed. Will be shipping to Albuquerque NM 87111. Will pay up to $50 via PayPal, or wiling to negotiate going current price. PCI-X is what was used in original Mac Pro G5 1.8 GHz, PowerMac7,2. Finally time to get rid of this mishmash of random parts. Looks like 4 of those L shaped brackets from 2006 era MacBooks that covered the HD tray next to the battery. A drive bracket from a 2011 iMac. Fan from some 06-08 era laptop, several 2.5” SSD spacers, a drive bracket from one of the 2006 era Mac books, etc. Nothing on its own is worth much, but perhaps some value for someone that is still deep in these machines. I posted this a few years back, but it didn’t sell. It’s still in the box it came in, on a shelf in my office. I can’t use it because I replaced my formerly heavy wood desk with a glass top one, and this arm requires a substantial desktop to support it.
