I might be wrong, but I think Bruce uses a custom script for BLFS on
anduin. You might need to get him to do this for you.

Correct.  The script does not do a make, but uses individual commands
and then copies the results to quantum.

I can change the script to update /lfs/view/development/wget-list if you
want.

For the ftp repos, I make heavy use of the wget scripts.  Some are 
already rendered with the book, such as:
