https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68689 --- Comment #4 from Tomaz Vajngerl qui...@gmail.com --- Well, this would require additional changes in ruler as tick divider would need to be 62,5 (125/2) which is not an integer and there is no MAP_1TH_INCH. I will try to change this in master to 1/16 but for LO 4.1 I will only change it to 1/8 as this is really a simple change. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 68809] New: flickering, rendering text and menus inaccessible
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68809 Priority: medium Bug ID: 68809 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: flickering, rendering text and menus inaccessible Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: laur...@unityinfinite.net Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Hello, I have previously done a bug report about the same issue in connection with Load/Save - General - AutoRecovery/backup here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67831 , but the flickering rendering text and menus inaccessible still exist. This time with the 4.2 alpha, but I have found that it is not necessary related to the the Load/Save features. As previous time with version 4.1 I had checked the settings: - Save AutoRecovery information every 5 min - Automatically save the documents too - Always create backup copy This time I had copied a text from internet with picture illustrations when it first started. And as previous time I had to open a new document to access the settings and turn them off. When I had done this and clicked Ok the flickering stopped. But after a while, while the options above was turned off, the flickering started again. If I do not remember wrong it was when downloading the last pictures in the document. The downloading was done automatically by Writer while scrolling further down in the document. Meaning, it was not by manual copy/paste from the internet page. I solved it by activating the options above in a new document, and then deactivating them again. Meaning clicking Ok twice. Hello, There is a file that I save as a Word 2003 .doc file - to be compatible with other peoples' software. I take great care to remove unnecessary newline (unnecessary paragraphs), but when I open the .doc document again after saving - it has not saved all edits. Therefore the file now is not 4 pages but 8 ugly pages long. I am embarrassed I have sent this to people, relying that edits would be saved. Extremely annoying that such a very basic thing could not be done - to save the paragraphs as I intended. I no not need to remove all blank paragraphs, by the way. Just like in this text submission form, there are cases when you want to create space between paragraphs with newline, not by formatting paragraph spacing. Perhaps it has something to do that there are some comments in the file, however I need to make comments to collaborate with people. I would appreciate knowing whether this is something that can be fixed. I want to use LibreOffice, but I must be able to cooperate with users of windows and Ms Office. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68818 Priority: medium Bug ID: 68818 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Filesave: Office hangs up at saving a larger file in odt format Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: claudiusg...@gmail.com Hardware: x86 (IA32) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.1.2 rc Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Libre Office hangs up when I intent to save a larger Writer document (17,1 MB, 153 pages). The problem seems to be in the process SearchFilterHost.exe that runs wild at the end of the storing process. LibreOffice can be recovered when killing this process manually. Smaller texts opened simultaneously could be saved without any problem. I tried to install several local versions of Libre Office 4.1.0 to 4.1.2 and found the same behaviour in all of them. I did not try it on different computers so far. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48851] VIEWING: Random display corruption of headings in document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48851 --- Comment #40 from Jon Grossart j...@grossart.net --- (In reply to comment #38) it never happened in 3.3 or earlier (OO.org before that). It started in 3.4 and has been getting less frequent, but still happens. so I'm updating version field to 3.4 all versions. not reproducible on my 4.1.1 final release under Win7 64bit (but I know it's an hard to reproduce bug). have you tried upgrading to 4.1.1? do you still see this? and how frequent it is? once in a week? every day? does it happen just with .odt or even with .doc? what about graphic cards? do your computers have the same card or not? If you look at the earlier comments, it's listed on the computers I've seen it with. 2 different AMD cards (same computer) and with Intel GMA 945 (Atom netbook) and on Intel HD (don't remember which one, core i3 based from a few years ago -- maybe HD 3000). It's happened up through 4.1.0. I haven't seen it on 4.1.1, but I also have worked on those documents since then. It happens consistantly, but not reliably. It's only using .odt files. Since these documents are the only ones I've seen it on, I have a feeling it has to do with the amount of ordered lists I'm using. It's basically pages of lists. It rarely shows up on a cold start of the program. It usually happens after opening and closing several documents and working on them in one instance of the program. If I just open and close and repeat, it doesn't seem to happen. It happens more when there has been actual time open in the program as well editing and saving. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I haven't seen it happen in the little bit I've played with these docs in Ubuntu either. I have a feeling it's a Windows specific bug, which most of the developers don't use.
