So it looks like we have a rogue Extensions Manager window that can only be instantiated once, and then refuses to be called anymore on subsequent attempts. Sure, but the crucial bit for dailies to prove their worth is a) it worked on Monday's daily b) it failed on Tuesday's daily and you were comparing to 3.4.X so its unclear if the regression was actually fresh in the daily you tested, or in some one earlier. I too am annoyed by the ongoing scripting extension problems, will try to look at that later, at least on Linux.
