https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145138 Russell Almond changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |NOTABUG Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #6 from Russell Almond --- I figured out what the problem was. The problem was not occurring on my laptop (which essentially the same setup). Apparently, something in my gnome configuration was grabbing the keystroke and not sending it to LibreOffice. I went in with gnome-tweaks Under Keyboard & Mouse I selected Additional Layout Options Under `Key ... 3rd level` I selected `Right Ctrl` (not sure if this one was necessary). Under `Non-breaking space input`, I selected `Non-breaking space at the 4th level`. Now the Ctrl+Shift+Space sequence seems to be generating a non-breaking space. However, if you use the Tools > Line Numbering feature for the document, you'll see that the default setting is to continue the numbering across pages. So the numbering of the comments matches the numbering on the page, which is definitely what we expect from the feature. Now, change the line numbering setting to "Restart every new page": you'll see that the comments now follow that numbering in the printout too. Syncing with the line numbering settings is the important thing. And it is possible to switch "Restart every new page on", then choose to not show the line numbering, to end up with what you were hoping. I think https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148764 is about this exactly (should be added as "related"?) I think this one (#127138) is not only GNOME/KDE specific as I just ran into this problem on macOS - I set the OS to switch to dark theme in the evening/night and having Sifr icon set (I like minimal icons) I got a dark icons contours on almost black toolbar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156119 --- Comment #6 from tomi --- Sorry, my previous error report was wrong! There is a problem with the frame overlap, which causes the entire content of the page to disappear when scrolling. I tried it with the given parameter and the gtk3 interface, the error still exists in the case of a document created in Windows (docx). Under Windows and in WPS, there is no such appearance error and the frame does not overlap to the next page. When we resize the frame in LibreOffice so that it doesn't overlap, the problem goes away. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 155462] Scrollbar tooltips not shown anymore when dragging thumb; ShowScrollBarTips option doesn't work
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155462 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added CC||caolan.mcnamara@collabora.c ||om --- Comment #10 from Mike Kaganski --- So: 1. The commit identified by Stéphane made the tooltips dependent on *two* options (for unclear reason): *both* "ShowScrollBarTips" expert config must be enabled, *and* Options->LibreOffice->General->Extended tips (why???); 2. It made "ShowScrollBarTips" false by default. In view of already resolved (at that point) bug 43650, it was overkill - both "Extended tips" dependency, and "disabled by default" (note that i#25945 was also filed against the problems when *mouse-wheel* scrolling). 3. Commit 4ed26badfd6fd9190cb6e54078b41eb38cb37dca (use resolution independent positions for writer's screen-rendering, 2022-01-20) broke ShowScrollBarTips. Before that, it "worked" (if someone ever used it; it seems, that it degraded since then). So besides the regression fix, IMO, it needs some love, and then remove both Extended tips dependency, and "off by default". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
