[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 43619] New: Animating only 2nd level paragraphs hides 1st level paragraphs
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43619 Bug #: 43619 Summary: Animating only 2nd level paragraphs hides 1st level paragraphs Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.4 Daily Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Presentation AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: sberg...@redhat.com Created attachment 54217 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=54217 sample document See the attached fly.odp with a text box with three 1st level paragraphs (Foo, Bar, Baz) with one 2nd level paragraph each (First, Second, Third), with an on-click animation (fly in) grouped By 2nd level paragraphs (see context menu of any of the items in the Tasks pane's Custom Animation - Effect Fly In list, Effect Options... - Text Animation - Group text). When doing the slide show, the individual 1st and 2nd level paragraphs correctly fly in one by one (Foo; First; Bar; Second; Baz; Third). Now, remove the effect for each of the 1st level paragraphs (Foo, Bar, Baz), via the items' context menu Remove. When doing the slide show, the first 1st level paragraph (Foo) is correctly displayed right from the start, and the individual 2nd level paragraphs correctly fly in one by one (First; Second; Third), but the remaining two 1st level paragraphs (Bar, Baz) are erroneously not displayed at all. Also, after removing all the 1st level paragraphs' effects, the grouping of the remaining 2nd level paragraphs (as stated at Effect Options... - Text Animation -Group Text) changes from By 2nd level paragraphs to All paragraphs at once. Manually changing the setting for a paragraph does not work, after closing the Effect Options dialog it automatically goes back to All paragraph at once. (Reproduced with a libreoffice-3-4 build towards LO 3.4.5. On master towards LO 3.5, this cannot currently be tested well, as doing this animated slide show, at least in an unxlngx6 --enable-dbgutil build, soffice.bin aborts with drawshapesubsetting.cxx's makeTreeNode calculating std::distance between singular iterator and end; immediate problem appears to be that maActionClassVector.begin() == maActionClassVector.end() in DrawShapeSubsetting::getTreeNode.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43619 --- Comment #1 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com 2011-12-08 00:16:22 PST --- Created attachment 54218 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=54218 fix the (automatically selected) paragraph grouping With the attached paralevels.patch, after removing all the 1st level paragraphs' effects, the grouping of the remaining 2nd level paragraphs (as stated at Effect Options... - Text Animation -Group Text) stays at By 2nd level paragraphs and no longer automatically changes to All paragraphs at once. Manually changing the setting for a paragraph still does not work, however---after closing the Effect Options dialog it automatically goes back to By 2nd level paragraphs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

But as the source of the problem is hidden, it is quite hard to understand the source of the problem, and thus quite hard to get to the work-around overall. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 42800] Calc crash when drag and drop a range of cells
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42800 --- Comment #7 from David Murray david...@davidmurray.name 2011-12-08 04:26:59 PST --- Created attachment 54236 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=54236 Drag-and-drop crash example I'm also seeing this issue, but not with Gianfranco's attachment 54097, so I've attached this example which does it for me. To reproduce: 1) Open in Calc 2) Select a range of cells (say D1:D2) 3) Drag and drop with mouse (to say E1:E2) - All open Calc windows vanish It doesn't seem to matter which cells are selected (D1:D2 are even empty) but you must select more than one. This sheet has a column of 101 formulas summing the cells to their left with the cell above. If I delete the contents of row 101, the issue goes away, but I can't see anything particular about that row. If A1:C101 is copied and pasted into a new spreadsheet, that spreadsheet exhibits the problem. This is using 340m1 Build:402 from the standard Ubuntu repository. I'm running AMD-64 Kubuntu 11.10 (so KDE 4.7.2). Note the same build of Calc under x86 Windows 7 does not exhibit the problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 42584] FILEOPEN: Parser errors and blank spreadsheet when opening XLS file
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42584 --- Comment #9 from Kohei Yoshida kohei.yosh...@gmail.com 2011-12-08 08:36:00 PST --- (In reply to comment #6) Interesting, it works with LO-3.4.4 package from openSUSE. It does not work with the official LO-3.4.4 from FDO. I wonder if it is related to a system library that is used to parse the file format. Kohei, it is strange file format. How much do we support it? It's not a strange file format; it's an Excel-generated HTML file, disguised as an xls file, by having an .xls extension. Well, sounds strange perhaps when you see it written, but I've seen a plenty of files like this it's not weird to me any more. Since the reporter says sometimes the file opens, I would suspect it's the file format detection code failing to detect the correct filter type, and perhaps we are parsing the file using the wrong import filter. Just a wild guess. Also, as I've observed in the past, our file format detection code involves a little bit of random luck, where different candidate format types are tested, and the first one gets selected. The thing is, we store these format types in boost::unordered_map, and this container tends to order things differently depending on the version of boost used to build it. That might explain different behaviors in different distro versions of even the same version. But all of this is just a speculation. Someone needs to debug our format detection code and see what really takes place there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Thanks. This type of Entity: line xx: parser error: error message indeed comes from an external XML parser, which indicates that the file is incorrectly parsed as an XML file. I've seen a similar problem before, and did fix it in 3.5. The problem was that the Excel 2003 XML file detection code was way too simple, and incorrectly identified this type of HTML file as an Excel 2003 XML file, and proceeded with importing it using that filter instead of using the HTML import filter. So, I would say please try again using 3.5, and if it's still there, please reopen this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43491 Rainer Bielefeld libreoff...@bielefeldundbuss.de changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Rainer Bielefeld libreoff...@bielefeldundbuss.de 2011-12-08 10:21:36 PST --- Still [Reproducible] with Server installation of Master LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 485138f-e92bf75-4c1bcb5] Win-x86@6 – 2011-12-06_21:37:02). Steps to reproduce: 0. Close all LibOs 1. Check User Profile folder. My Build created a new C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\LOdev\3 2. rename subfolder 3 to 3_bak 3. Copy / Paste folder 3 from 3.4.4 user profile 4. Start Libo Master! Everything seems to work fine, but I see the reported effect My conclusion: a) I do something forbidden, if yes this Bug should be closed with some hints. But on http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile I can't see an explicit prohibition. b) The situation is the same as the new 3.5.0 will find when it tries to use the existing User Profile from 3.4 If b) we might have a fatal bug causing update problems But the problem does not appear when I create a fresh new profile with 3.4.4 and copy / Paste it to the profile folder of 3.5. Further investigations shows that it's something within registrymodifications.xcu. I attach a registrymodifications.zip, using registrymodifications.xcu.bak (after renameing, of course everything works fine, using registrymodifications.xcu from my old 3.4.4 profile causes the problem. Simply copying that registrymodifications.xcu into user profile of an other master build reproduces the reported problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
