I didn't reproduce this on master too (commit :
c604a738f48ffa4c12f7c9801d03a146303d3123) but had the same errors as on 3.5
branch.

Some questions :
- since you seem having tested different LO/OOo versions, could you
remove/backup your LO profile (~/.config/libreoffice and/or ~/.libreoffice,
check both) + OOo profile (~/.config/openoffice and/or ~/.openoffice, check
both again)
- could you install libreoffice-dbg to have more info ?
- why do you give your Wine version ?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47197] New: VIEWING of OLE objects destroyed in other LibO applications

2012-03-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon

 Bug #: 47197
Summary: VIEWING of OLE objects destroyed in other LibO

Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO 3.3.0 release
  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: regression
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: libreoff...@bielefeldundbuss.de

Created attachment 58281
  -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=58281
Test Kit

Te effects are similar to Bug 44838 - FORMATTING: Position, size, word wrap
wrong for WRITER OLE Object in CALC, but that is ok in LibO 3.3.0, while the
problem discussed here also is visible with that old version.

Steps to reproduce with LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID:
dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit):

1. Open new Spreadsheet
2. Menu 'Insert - Object - OLE object - WRITER object from file -
   Template.ods from test kit'
Writer document contents will be inserted and shown,
   Expected: looks like in WRITER
Actual: Too big margin at the top, cropped at right and boggom margin

Template.odt has been created with a.m. Version.

I did not find a way to get picture in object completely visible.

That works fine with OOo 3.1.1 and OOo 3.3, so REGRESSION

See my results in sample.ods from attached test kit NewOleObjectView.zip

Result is the same when I insert OLE object into DRAW document.

http://www.libreoffice.org/download/3-5-new-features-and-fixes/ reads:

Different Encryption Algorithm

In LibreOffice 3.5, a different, more often used encryption (AES) will be
introduced to replace the previously used one (Blowfish). In consequence, files
encrypted with LibreOffice 3.5 can not be opened by LibreOffice 3.4.4 and
earlier. LibreOffice 3.4.5 enables you to open those files. However, on saving
again in LibreOffice 3.4.5, the old encryption will be used. Files with the old
encryption of course can be used in LibreOffice 3.5.0

I see an other effect, IMHO related, ok with 3.3.0, broken in 3.4.6RC1,
3.4.1RC, OK in 3.3.0

0. Select Text for copy / paste below, control+c for copy
1. open new CALC document
2. Click A1, insert new WRITER OLE object
3. control+v to paste text from below into OLE object after click into object
4. Click outside object
Expected: First paragraph of text shown filling cell range A1:G3
(more or less), not exceeding object (control points)
Actual: Text contents shown in B1:H5, starts with ... instead
of aa..., wide left empty margin, text exceeds object at the right

WRITER OLE objet handling seems to be completely broken.

Text for copy / paste:
Aa b dd

Hi Julien:

Removed both ~/.config/libreoffice and ~/.libreoffice like you suggested in
comment #4.
~/.config/openoffice and ~/.openoffice are not present.

Installed all available libreoffice-*-debuginfo packages. AFAIK these are the
openSuSE equivalents of libreoffice-dbg in the Debian world.

The re-bulleting still doesn't work. The crashes still occur.

Note that in step 6 I have to switch to another tab like Position in the
Bullets and Numbering dialog immediately after choosing the bullets to make
Impress crash.

These crashes are very reproducible on my system when Impress is started from
the KDE GUI. They are however much less frequent when Impress is started from
the command line. The results on Windows XP and wine suggest that the problem
is not specific to KDE.

The wine version is given whenever a test was performed on a linux system with
a Windows LO/OO executable. The wine version installed is not the default
version for OpenSuSE 11.4.

Thank you for your reply, I have search with bug reports (only open bugs...)
and I do not have read the changelog either ... Sorry.

It now may be cool that Ubuntu 11.10 upgrade to LO 3.4.5 at least, but that is
another problem.

I have a suggestion now instead:
Since the file was encrypted with the old format, when saving to the new format
with LO 3.5, it may have been nice to have a simple popup to warn the user with
this change, so I won't have been surprise :)

Something like:
Warning: The file you opened was encrypted with Blowfish algorithm, it will be
save using AES algorithm. Older version of LO may not be able to open it.

Thank again.

Still present in LibreOffice 3.5.0 as downloaded from
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ today.

Nurh's workaround does not work for me, the device options being printer
specific. My work around is to have two printers configured in CUPS, on
defaulting to duplex on, the other to duplex off. I then use whichever printer
for whichever duplex setting I require. Works, but a pain.

I cannot log into Bugzilla right now. I get The username or password you
entered is not valid. even with copy and paste of a new passwords after
resetting it. Very strange.

Bug still present on LibO 3.4.4

workaround: one can print duplex with a printer which defaults to single page
by switching Duplexer Installed off and on again in device(?) tab (german
Gerät) and then turning Duplex option to ON on paper(?) tab (german
 Papier).

 Hint:
There seems to be a problem in intializing Duplexer Installed Option (tab
device(?)) which resets Duplex option to OFF in paper(?) tab on duplex
 default
 printers.

 Hope hint will help.
 Thank You,

Proposed patch

Hello,

These colorpicker (Font color, Highlighting, Background) are handled by
SvxColorWindow_Impl class.
The patch adds WinBits to the constructor of SvxColorWindow_Impl: the same from
OOo 3.2.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 40435] Extension Anaphraseus: Uninstall not possible

2012-03-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Hi all

Anaphraseus required pre/post installation scripts to be run to create/delete
menu.
So simple uninstall through extension manager is not enough.
Recommended way is to use 'Uninstall' from Anaphraseus' menu, or ODT document,
containing install/uninstall macros here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Documentation/Installation%20Guide/

Best regards, Ole Yansen

(In reply to comment #8)
Anaphraseus required pre/post installation scripts to be run to create/delete
 menu.

O.K.

So simple uninstall through extension manager is not enough.
Recommended way is to use 'Uninstall' from Anaphraseus' menu,

I have tried it, got the message to uninstall it via Extension Manager, but it
worked. Thanks :)

 or ODT document,
 containing install/uninstall macros here:

Maybe I will try it later. I thought the usual way to uninstall via Extension
Manager would be suffice, but it does not seem so ... :(
Thanks for your comment anyway and have a nice evening

2012-03-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47209

 Bug #: 47209
Summary: In SQL mode in Queries, Base crashes when a second
SELECT followed by quotes is entered.
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO 3.4.5 release
  Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Database
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: c174...@rppkn.com

1) Open a database and create a new query in query editor.

2) Click in Activate/Deactivate design view (the button with the yellow ruler)
to change to the SQL editor.

3) Type a simple input like this:

SELECT tblEmployees.EmployeeName FROM tblEmployees ORDER BY
EmployeeName

4) Run the query. It works fine. Now add this code after that one:

SELECT

5) Base crashes when you type double quotes after the words SELECT.

I know nothing about SQL, but even though this code may not be correct, it was
not supposed to crash.

Thanks.

opened a WRITER seconddocument.odt using (LibO File Open dialog in an opened
WRITER firstdocument.odt, after the new document has been opened I switched
back to firstdocument.odt, used LibO File Open document again and tried to open
seconddocument.odt, Foucs switched to alread y opened seconddocument.odt.

@reporter:
Thank you for your report – unfortunately important information is missing.
May be hints on http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport will help you to
find out what information will be useful to reproduce your problem? If you
believe that that is really sophisticated please as for Help on a user mailing
list
Please:
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
- Attach a sample document (not only screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (due to example in Bug 43431).
Try to open is not sufficient, I know a dozen ways how to open a document
– if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch
- add information
  -- what EXACTLY is unexpected
-- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
-- concerning your PC (video card, ...)
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO localization (UI language, Locale setting)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
(video hardware acceleration ...)
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
Even if you can not provide all demanded information, every little new
information might bring the breakthrough.

May be you can test https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/ for submitting
bug reports?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47218] New: Insert Reference to endnote should give same format as endnote

2012-03-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47218

 Bug #: 47218
Summary: Insert Reference to endnote should give same format as
endnote
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO 3.5.0 Release
  Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: a...@teigseth.no

When inserting an endnote, it's SUPERSCRIPT + ITALIC formatted.

However, when inserting a Reference to the same endnote (often the same endnote
is referenced from multiple locations in a document), the format is just no
change, looks just like the rest of the text. No superscript, no italic...

Reproduce:
Ctrl+F2 - Cross Reference - Endnote - select one - Reference

Wouldn't it be more logic behavior with the same format as for an endnote?

[Reproducible] with reporter's sample and LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 German UI/Locale
[Build-ID: dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66] on German WIN7 Home Premium
(64bit) (some smaller progress compared to 3.3. and 3.4)

Effects of comment 4 and following not tested.

That never worked correctly in LibO, [Reproducible] with LibreOffice Portable
3.3.0 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag
libreoffice-3.3.0.4] (looking even worse).

9518535-d09cf17-8a74106-c695ecd-16afab (libreoffice-3-5-branch-point)]
{Win-x86@9-Voreppe Win32 pull time 2012-02-29 04:21:51}. OS: German WIN7 Home
Premium (64bit)

Same problem with OOo 3.3.0, so inherited from OOo
