[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48365] New: Exporting as an EPS file results in an incorrectly scaled image (appears larger than original)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48365 Bug #: 48365 Summary: Exporting as an EPS file results in an incorrectly scaled image (appears larger than original) Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 (AMD64) OS/Version: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Drawing AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: johnha...@johnhardyco.com Created attachment 59572 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=59572 Image for product ID. Scaled wrong by LibO Draw 3.5.2 when exported as EPS. I created an image in Open Office Draw two or three years ago. I brought it into LibO Draw 3.4 and did some editing. When I export it as an EPS file (Encapsulated Postscript), either in LibO Draw 3.4 or LibO Draw 3.5.2, then look at it in GIMP and other EPS viewers, the image as viewed and printed is about 10% larger than it should be. I have Open Office 3.3 on my computer, so I loaded the same image into OO Draw 3.3 and then exported it as an EPS file. When I view that file in GIMP, it is the correct size. If I use LibO 3.4 or 3.5.2 to export the image as a PDF file, the image is correctly scaled and rendered using Adobe Reader to view the pdf. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45997 --- Comment #5 from Manik Chand manik_chand_patn...@yahoo.com 2012-04-06 03:10:08 PDT --- Additional situation encountered. Whenever I encounter such an event, I have found a method to mitigate it. In a new paragraph when I try to paste an image and the paste happens and scrolls down to bottom of the document, I can now disallow such action by pressing any character or space bar once before pasting. So after paste, I am not scrolled down to bottom of document. I use KDE and I found that the paste button does not always become active after I copy some text/graphics from any other application, say chrome browser. However as I use middle mouse key to paste, paste happens even without the paste button becoming active. However soon after paste happens paste button becomes active indicating that something is on the clipboard. I have randomly encountered this behaviour and so I don't have any conclusive reason to believe that this behaviour is linked with the issue presently being discussed. @Rainer Bielefeld: I don't know how that zip is created. If there is a libreoffice tracking app or debug mode or anything like that, possibly I could have made a case. As this bug does not activate upon each paste, it is difficult to generate a scenario. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47148 --- Comment #3 from Björn Michaelsen bjoern.michael...@canonical.com 2012-04-06 18:08:15 PDT --- Is this metabug really a 3.5 MAB? E.g. are we expecting to kill it on the release branch or is this work that touches too much code to be really safely backported? Without deeper knowledge of the topic I would assume the second, and thus demote this from 3.5 MAB state. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48409] New: Impress 3.4-3.5 EDITING: embedded OLE object changes its position after editing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48409 Bug #: 48409 Summary: Impress 3.4-3.5 EDITING: embedded OLE object changes its position after editing Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.1 Release Platform: x86 (IA32) OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Presentation AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: china...@ya.ru Created attachment 59613 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=59613 OLE positioning bug There is a presentation with embedded Writer object in the attachment. I work on several presentations with such OLE objects because Writer gives much more formatting options. To see the bug: 1. Open attached document in Impress. 2. Double click the highlighted text in the notes (OLE object). 3. Click somewhere outside to finish editing of OLE object. Expected: nothing changed. Actually: the OLE object moves. Reproduced in versions from 3.4.* up to 3.5.1 on Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows XP 32 bit. Thats why I still use LO 3.3.4. Maybe this bug is connected with the bug 47773 but in my case the LO 3.3.4 works correctly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
