[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48431] New: All positive currency cells go blank
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48431 Bug #: 48431 Summary: All positive currency cells go blank Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: x86 (IA32) OS/Version: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: octahedro...@gmail.com Created attachment 59635 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=59635 Focus the cell and a number on the bar. I have more screenshots if you want. I have experienced LibreOffice on Ubuntu and OpenOffice.org on Windows for some time. I have to work on the same documents and there was no problem in use. But today, I removed OpenOffice.org from Windows and replaced with the latest LibreOffice. I opened many documents for testing. It was almost okay like the old one. The problem appears when I open an ODS (Calc spreadsheet) about daily accounting. All cells containing POSITIVE number in CURRENCY format are BLANK! Any pages, any sheets are blank! Currency formulae that result in positive number are also blank too. It shows only negative currency in red. As shown in attachment. I have checked cell format settings but there is no unusual things. However, the blankened numbers are still displayed on the top editting bar. That means the numbers are still there but not to be shown. This is not good if I cannot see any positive money in accounting sheet. Please resolve this severe bug. Secondary issue: why almost text cells are right-aligned by default? The version on Ubuntu nor OpenOffice.org have never occured such issue. Thai language is left-to-right writing like English, so this odd should not have happened. FYI: My files are in Thai language and my computer is set under Thai locale. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48436 Bug #: 48436 Summary: Data Label Placement needs absolute coordinates Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: x86-64 (AMD64) OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Chart AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: jonnjo...@fastmail.fm When enabling data labels on a chart, the labels may overlap into the chart image area, making the labels difficult to read. It's particularly problematic when making a pie chart with a 3D Realistic Look, and using percents as labels. It would be better for the data labels to be freely placed, like text boxes with position and size x and y coordinates, instead. Really all elements should be freely customizable like text boxes, in terms of placement, size, and content. It may interfere and cause problems otherwise. The individual elements can still be moved as a group when moving a chart. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48439 Bug #: 48439 Summary: EDITING: Row Height Change Automatically Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: rian020...@gmail.com Problem description: it changes the row height automatically by 0.01 or 0.02 when we are editing a certain cell. this has been already since the previous version of Calc. And this occurs when the file opened comes from MsOffice Excel. Steps to reproduce: 1. I created a file made by Msoffice excel 2010. it just contains some numbers. 2. Save the file (i have save it as *.xls and open it to Calc 3. After opening the file in Calc.. Check the Row Height of the cells that contains data. 4. Edit with anything the selected cell. 5. Click or move to the other cell. 6. Check again the Row Height of the edited cell. (sometimes it changes the height as observed.) Current behavior: After editing the cell and clicking to other cell, the edited cell's row height will increase to 0.01 or 0.02.. i dont know if this is automatic by nature in LibreOffice, but in excel it doesnt change unless font size is changed. Expected behavior: the row height should not change at all unless font size is changed. Platform (if different from the browser): Windows 7 32 bit Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.151 Safari/535.19 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I can confirm problems with LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID: 281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit). If you want to reopen additional bugs concerning the syntax error please contribute useful information. All th Bugs here are concerning problems ;-) May be hints on http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport will help you to find out what information will be useful to reproduce your problem? If you believe that that is really sophisticated please as for Help on a user mailing list Please: - Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is - Attach a sample document (not only screenshot) or refer to an existing sample document in an other Bug with a link. - Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem (due to example in Bug 43431) – if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document from the scratch - add information -- what EXACTLY is unexpected -- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!) -- concerning your PC -- concerning your OS (Version (with Build ID if it's not a public release), Distribution, Language) -- concerning your LibO version and localization (UI language, Locale setting) –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document –- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful -- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts Even if you can not provide all demanded information, every little new information might bring the breakthrough. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47078] Empty page with cell borders gets printed out when Suppress output of empty pages is enabled
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47078 --- Comment #6 from Sushi ahirosh...@ashisuto.co.jp 2012-04-08 18:37:53 PDT --- Astron Thank you for getting back to me. The point of this ISSUE is that only when the borders are set, the option does not work as expected. As you can see in the sample doc, the Empty page is not suppressed from printing disregard the print range settings. (Delete the defined print range and the 2nd page would still be printed) Remove all the borders from 2nd page of sample doc, it is suppressed from printing disregard the print range. And fill background of 2nd page, it is still suppressed from printing. Therefore, the feature works partially and is NOT Completely Broken but does not work as it should only for the borders. I am fine with Print empty pages anyway if it is manually specified to do so but in that case, I think what is written on the Help page needs to be changed to suit the actual behavior. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48448] New: Insert Picture from File should have keyboard shortcut
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48448 Bug #: 48448 Summary: Insert Picture from File should have keyboard shortcut Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: markp...@gmail.com Insert Picture from a file is common task on word processor. Especially if you need to deal with a lot of pictures (e.g. software manual with screenshots). So it would be nice if Writer has a keyboard shortcut for insert picture command (equivalent to Insert Picture From File) I think Ctrl+Shift+P (for Picture) is still available. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
