[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 51278] New: LibreOffice BASE 3.6 can't open or create reports
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51278 Bug #: 51278 Summary: LibreOffice BASE 3.6 can't open or create reports Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.6.0.0.beta2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: medium Component: Database AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: aironm...@gmail.com For me, using 3.6 beta1 and beta2, it's just impossible to open reports in Base that were generated with LO 3.5.X. I can't either create new reports. If I double click on the reports wizard I get an error message saying that no valid templates are found. OK, that's an error that I had sometime ago that seems to happen to some people (looking in Google), but what is new to me is that if I double click on the option to create reports on design mode (which always worked before), this time it does nothing. Yes, I double click on it and nothing happens. On a previosly created .odb file (with 3.5.X), if I try to open a report, I get an error saying something like: The document XX can't be opened (it's a translation that I've done from the spanish message I get, it might not be exactly the same message on the pure english version). On this file, if I then try to create new reports I get the same result than in the previous paragraph. This is critical, as Base becomes unusable on 3.6. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47800 Petr Mladek pmla...@suse.cz changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||mst...@redhat.com, ||sberg...@redhat.com Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Petr Mladek pmla...@suse.cz 2012-06-21 02:44:19 PDT --- I am able to reproduce it. If you look into the autotext using Edit/Autotext... or by pressing [Ctrl-F3] you see four autotext libraries: crdbus50 crdbus54 standard template but the are empty. The related files are installed in /opt/libreoffice3.5/share/autotext/cs/*.bau The *.bau files are zip archives. You could unzip them to see the content. I compared the content with the working en/standard.bau. The main difference seems to be in META-INF/manifest.xml. It is almost empty in the cs version. It includes many entries in the en version. So, the solution is to create correct manifest files in the cs/*.bau files. Stefan, Michael, just by chance, do you know about any helper tool to create the .bau files? Or do we need to create the manifest files by hand? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The last .bau files can be found at http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/extras/source/autotext/lang/cs The manual solution is to unzip them, update the META-INF/manifest.xml files and zip them again. You could take inspiration in the .bau files for other localizations. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 51296] New: UI: Calc doesn't take care of security setting Ctrl-click required to follow hyperlinks
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51296 Bug #: 51296 Summary: UI: Calc doesn't take care of security setting Ctrl-click required to follow hyperlinks Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: bz-freedesk...@florian-schmitt.net Currently, there's a setting in Options - LibreOffice - Security - Options: Ctrl-click required to follow hyperlinks. Expected behaviour: Since this is part of the gereral preferences, one might expect that this setting affects all LibreOffice components, including Calc. Current behaviour: This option seems to affect the handling of hyperlinks only in Writer. Hyperlinks in Calc and in Impress can bee activated by a single click even with this option set. Enhancement requests: 1. I would prefer if the handling of hyperlinks would be identical in every LibreOffice component, so i would propose to make Calc (and Impress) recognize that setting, too. 2. At least, the label of that option (or, at least, the documentation) should state that the setting affects only the Writer component. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50371] CONFIGURATION: JRE 7.x incompatibility not resolved
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50371 --- Comment #6 from aironm...@gmail.com 2012-06-21 07:02:37 PDT --- My experience here: I have two machines, one with XP 32 bits and the other with Windows 7 64 bits. On XP 32 bits there's no problem. On Windows 7 64 bits what happens is the following: As should be normal, I have the 64 bits release from the java 7 JRE. LibreOffice should work with this as I'm on a 64 bits machine. But it does not. It finds the JRE, I can select it, but when I restart it says that it will not work. I noticed that LibreOffice installs on C:\Program Files (x86) instead of just C:\Program Files. That made me to suspect that it could have someproblem with the 64 bits JRE. After that, I installed in addition the 32 bits release of the java 7 JRE and restarted LibreOffice. Then I had to versions of the java 7 JRE, one with 32 bits (installed on C:\Program Files (x86)) and another for 64 bits (on C:\Program Files ). From LibreOffice I selected to use the JRE installed on C:\Program Files (x86) (32 bits) and restarted LibreOffice. Java 7 worked fine since that. So what I see is that in a Windows 64 bits machine, LibreOffice doesn't work with 64 bits JRE, just with 32 bits. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 51023] EDITING: Drag and drop Slide sorting broken on Mac OS X
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51023 --- Comment #10 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de 2012-06-21 07:03:47 PDT --- A more complete review with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2. Given four slides numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, what allows 4 x 3 = 12 primary drag actions, I get the following results when dragging slides in the Slide Sorter view and/or in the Slides section of the main window (the results are identical): 1a) Dragging the 1st slide between slide 2 and 3: nothing happens (still 1, 2, 3, 4) 1b) Dragging the 1st slide between slide 3 and 4: nothing happens (still 1, 2, 3, 4) 1d) Dragging the 1st slide after the last slide: works (result: 2, 3, 4, 1) 2a) Dragging the 2nd slide before the 1st slide: works (result 2, 1, 3, 4) 2b) Dragging the 2nd slide between slide 3 and 4: 2 is inserted before 1 (result 2, 1, 3, 4) 2c) Dragging the 2nd slide after the last slide: works (result 1, 3, 4, 2) 3a) Dragging the 3rd slide before the 1st slide: works (result 3, 1, 2, 4) 3b) Dragging the 3rd slide between slide 1 and 2: 3 is inserted before 1 (result 3, 1, 2, 4) 3c) Dragging the 3rd slide after the last slide: works (result 1, 2, 4, 3) 4a) Dragging the last slide before the 1st one: works (result 4, 1, 2, 3) 4b) Dragging the last slide between slide 1 and 2: 4 is inserted before 1 (result 4, 1, 2, 3) 4c) Dragging the last slide between slide 2 and 3: 4 is inserted before 1 (result 4, 1, 2, 3) Analysis: A) moving a slide via drag and drop before the 1st slide or after the last slide works B) moving a slide via drag and drop to any other position does NOT work, but inserts the moved slide before the 1st slide. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 51023] EDITING: Drag and drop Slide sorting broken on Mac OS X
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51023 --- Comment #11 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de 2012-06-21 07:14:31 PDT --- Created attachment 63300 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=63300 Corrupted sample file, corrupted via a simple sequence of drag-and-drop actions But the analysis given in my previous comment holds true only when I do single drag-and-drop actions, i.e. open my sample document (attachment 63289) before each step again and try only one step at once. If I do several drag-and-drop actions one after another, I observe a) crashes and b) data corruption. I have not found yet a simple way to reproduce the crash with 100% reliability, but here is a simple sequence of drag-and-drop actions which leads to data corruption: 1) Open my sample file (attachment 63289) with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 or 3.6beta 1 and switch to the Slide Sorter. The order of the slides is first 1, 2, 3, 4. 2) Drag slide 2 after slide 3. The order of the slides is now 2, 1, 3, 4 (wrong!). 3) Drag slide 1 (the 2nd one) after slide 3 (the third one). The order of the slides is again 1, 2, 3, 4 (wrong!) 4) Drag slide 2 after slide 3. The order of the slides is now 2, 2, 3, 4: corruption! Now we have two slides which look identical at the beginning of the slide show. The old slide 1 is gone. And this is a serious and stable corruption, not only a drawing error: the double slide 2 is still present when I save, close and open the document again, and the old slide 1 is still missing. Attached you find such a corrupted file which is the result of applying the given four steps to my sample file. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
