Open the base file and the form inside: https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=497564 2. Press Refresh button 3. Do not click or touch keyboards anywhere, but immediately click Max 4. Press Ctr+C 5. Paste content will be Julian In step 3, if random clicking anywhere else in the table before clicking Max, the issue seems not reproducible. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 52180] New: Document should be adjusted top left on the paper in printing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52180 Bug #: 52180 Summary: Document should be adjusted top left on the paper in printing Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.4 release Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: nom...@tmo.co.jp If the document's width and height are different from those of the paper on the printer, the document is printed on unexpected place. Writer places the document on center of the paper and it causes the problem. If the document size is very special, we can't select exact the same size of paper and it gets the problem. One solution is that the document's origin, upper left corner, should be located upper left corner on the paper of the printer. Even if the size of selected paper is different from that of the document, the document is printed correctly because the document's origin, upper left corner, is adjusted on the paper's upper left corner and width and height of the paper affects nothing to the image. In case of landscape, there is one attentional point. A landscape document is currently rotated 90 degree CW. Thus, top right corner of the document should fit to top left corner of the paper. In this case, width and height of the paper affects nothing to the image. To edit and print any size of document, this solution should be chosen. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52147 --- Comment #4 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de 2012-07-17 06:44:05 PDT --- (In reply to comment #2) However, I don't remember having ever changed anything in Universal Access. Is Enable access for assistive deviced checked by default? A good question. I can't tell for MacOS X 10.7 (Lion) because I have to stay with MacOS X 10.6.x for technical reasons; at least on 10.6.x, it is *not* checked by default, but maybe Apple has changed this on 10.7? You could help us to find out about that, and this would be very interesting for us all. IMHO Apple will use the default settings for any newly created account. To create a new account (you can delete it again later!), please open your MacOS System Preferences, select 'Users', click the lock icon at the bottom left to allow changes, and then click on the [+] or 'Add' button below the accounts list to create a new account. In the dialog window which asks you about some details please select type 'Standard' and enter a name and a password of your choice (just be sure to remember the password ;-). Now log out and log in again, this time with the name of the recently created account. Open the System Preferences again, select Universal Access and look if Enable access for assistive deviced is checked or not -- now you know it! Finally, log out and log in again with your own account. If you want, you can delete the recently created account now: just open 'Users' again, select the recently created account and click on [-] or 'Delete'. If you could try this and tell us about the results (here) it would be very helpful, thank you in advance! * Another possibility is: have you installed any window management utility/app, e.g. Moom, Cinch, or RightZoom? I wonder if some utilities of this kind tell MacOS X to Enable access for assistive deviced when you install them. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Firstly I feel we should try to incorporate all functions , may be not at once but gradually adding few with every release of LO. The reason I am asking for 'ALL' functions because that's what will make LO fully compatible. Also we never know when we require which function .. No function is non-essential but its totally upon the need which requires certain functions for that time. If we want to priorities the functions know which are the most used ones, you can create function wise poll for missing functions from LO (asking users which of the functions you know / use) post it on not just LO community but also on MS office communities on social network sites. More or less REPRODUCIBLE with * LibreOffice 3.5.5.3 (Build ID: 7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21) * LibreOffice 3.6.0.1 (Build ID: 73f9fb6) both with German langpack installed and running on MacOS X 10.6.8 (Intel). Opens with black boxes at the top, To be precise, at the top are the boxes only when I view the document with LibO 3.5.5.3; in LibO 3.6.0.1, the boxes appear black (wrong) but are probably placed at the correct position (bottom of first page and end of document). ugly spacing throughout the document We should try to express this more precisely; IMHO the lines of text and objects on page 1 take too much room (more than in MS Office, or whatever application was used to create this form), therefore the final lines of the address data flow to page 2 and three; and again, the table on (original) page 2 takes more room in LibreOffice than probably in the original application, therefore the last lines of (original) page 2 flow to page 5. So we have mostly two problems here: (1) a problem with the boxes which appear with black background; (2) a problem with the total size of lines and tables; probably the tables appear bigger in LibreOffice than in the original application. @mikc...@live.com: Thank you again for your bug report! Do you know which application was used to create this form (that would be good to know)? @Urmas: the concept of multilingual fonts in DOC/RTF IMHO it is not obvious why this is a problem with multilingual fonts in DOC/RTF. If you happen to know the reason of the problems with this file, could you please state briefly what's wrong here with the handling of multilingual fonts, and why this does lead to the visible problems? Install 3.5.5 Loo windows version under Windows (was 7 64bits here) 2. Connect one or several remote cifs server to letter 3. Create a kind of mailing ods (like name, firstname, birthday, bla informations with data) this will be used as source And place it to a complex path on a mapped network letter 4. Use Mailing assistant to create a new database, search your source ods call the db whatever 5. Save the odb in the same folder of the ods. 5. You will be able to create a mailing. 6. Now a friend need those odb and ods under his linux, or you send them grouped in a zip file by email. (You can emulate that by simply moving the 2 files in a new location on the network. 7. You want to use the odb, open it, and try to change the location of the ods, menu edit database properties : the field is grayed and you can't change anything. The path is still the old one. 8. This become a hack, your partner extract the content.xml and use ../bla.ods as url for the file. And save it again in the .odb 9. Your partner is able to work with the odb, and best he can move it to new location, and the ods,odb coupling stay working. 10. Your partner send the odb,ods back to you. You place it on the mapped network path, and the best is, now you can also work with, and can even move it inside your infrastructure freely, as you should have been able from the start :-) Current behavior: The full network mapped file is registered by windows even if odb and its source are in the same directory. Worst it seems that the url decoder is then unable to treat the second semi-colon in the url, and then the UI doesn't allow the user to change it. Expected behavior: if a source is located in the same directory as the odb, apply the same principle on windows than on Linux and use ../mysource.ods scheme. Benefit : LibreOffice end users will be able to use cross-platform office suite. Platform (if different from the browser): All : an odb has to be able to abstract the way file path work and never use a fixed one. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46918] CONFIGURATION: MS Excel Function compatibility with LO Calc
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46918 --- Comment #5 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com 2012-07-17 15:58:09 PDT --- I personally am not going to go to Microsoft forum to askif you want to feel free to and you can report back on the wiki: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Calc/Spreadsheet_Functions#List_of_Microsoft_Excel_Functions_Currently_Not_Supported_in_LO As for a voting method from us, from what I've seen, it's been tried once as an unofficial thing and I didn't particularly like it. But what I did was include a table on the wiki I've linked to that you can vote by just increasing the # by 1. This is not the prettiest method but it's a start. a) Complete wiki that I created, I only go through part of the list so far. Your list was good but I found some inconsistencies/errors so I'm testing every function from Excel just to confirm each one. This is necessary regardless and your list is still really useful (many thanks) b) If you end up creating a forum on Microsoft forum and you see a particular function(s) that are most desired please leave a comment where appropriate on the wiki. That would help tremendously. I think that's all, again really appreciate this. We have a mixed bag of opinions if we're going to implement every single function but we'll try to get to the most desired ones as fast as possible.
