May be fix for Bug 36538 was incomplete or some kine fo fFILEOPEN fix? With 3.5.1 saved as .rtf looked ok when I reopened the document with 3.5.1. But bug reported here is visible for that .rtf with LibO 3.5.5 and MS Word Viewer. When I save the sample document form 3.5.5, it will be shown with reported problem in 3.5.5 and MS WORD viewer. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52288 --- Comment #2 from Johannes Weberhofer 2012-07-20 07:58:13 PDT --- You example is not correct. Until 3.5 (and all Excel versions since 4.0, Staroffice and OpenOffice versions), the input (using the german locale) was tried to be interpreted as as DD-MM: therefore 12-31 resulted in a string "12-31", but 31-12 resulted in 31.12.2012 (31st December of the current year). In German language it is common to say a date is on "the 31th of march" or at the "31st 3rd" (normally in german ;-) ) when you are speaking about the current year. So everything is consistent except the fact that minusses are used to seperate the values. Until 3.5 it didn't play any role if minuses or dots have been used for seperation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52298 Bug #: 52298 Summary: TABLE: Calc table outlines "cut" when copied to Writer Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.5.3 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: fisselspi...@trash-mail.com Created attachment 64420 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=64420 Comparisons of Calc tables in Writer as described in "Steps to reproduce" Problem description: When pasted in Writer, Calc-tables with thick outer borders are not fitted properly into the "frame". The left one is half cut (thin), the lower one wholly cut away. To have your desired thick borders, you either have to select additional empty cells around the table to gain (too much) space, or to double-click into the table each time and fiddle it into the frame, which consumes less space but more time. This is not merely a "display" issue; when printing, you'll get the same - missing or unequal (too thin) borders. The problem was there at least since 3.4 and is persisting in the actual 3.5.5.3. Steps to reproduce: 1. In a Calc sheet, select some cells and give them a thick outer border, for example about 0,5 px or more. 2. Copy the table and paste it into Writer. (="Table 1") 3. Negative control: Copy the calc table again plus a row of empty cells to each side and paste it into Writer, so that the outlined cells this time are in a distance from the "frame". (="Table 2") 4. While Table 2 has equal outer borders with a correct size, in Table 1 the left and the lower borders are cut away. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48886] : MySQL Database Connection Failure with Base
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48886 --- Comment #2 from Alex Thurgood 2012-07-20 14:06:08 PDT --- Can confirm that socket field not present in Mysql connection wizard dialog WITH mysql JDBC connector on LO master build : Version 3.7.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 042686d) from yesterday In LO 3.3.4, on Windows, with the native mysql connector extension, a dialog field is provided to enter the socket to the running mysql process (if necessary). However, I CAN set up and use a mysql JDBC connector-based ODB on Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4, using mysql-connector-jdbc-5.1.18 So this works for me. I'm having difficulty what exactly you consider to be buggy : - the fact that the wizard for the JDBC connector connection setup has no field in which to enter the socket information ; or - the fact that you want to be able to browse to the location of the socket. In the second case, a normal user wouldn't be able to see the contents of /tmp/mysql.sock using the system navigation dialogs, because these are hidden from the user on OSX (well SnowLeopard and Lion, at least), as would be /usr/local/...this is a limitation imposed by the OS. I do agree however, that the user should be able to enter the path destination of the mysql.sock in the in wizard dialog, as is the case with native mysql connector extension (on Windows with LO 3.3.4, at least, I haven't checked elsewhere). So, IMHO, both points seem to relate more to an RFE (request for enhancement), rather than a bug, as such, since as you mentioned, you seem to be able to enter the sock data post-wizard setup, which is a workaround. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41376 --- Comment #14 from Dag Nygren 2012-07-20 14:10:41 PDT --- Why have you deliberately removed an "API" that people are using. Creates a lot of extra work for admins that try to use the program through the command line. I also need to convert the document to PS. Please reinsert. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
