This crash occurs instantly on clicking in the combobox, whether or not you release the mouse button. 5 - If the documents are recovered, attempting to choose a new font will repeat the crash cycle. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58433 --- Comment #6 from Marco Menardi --- @Lucian Oprea I understand your concern, and I agree about what users can think about this issue. The problem is that we can't change what M$Office has decide to correctly read and what it want to reject instead. Also Word is proprietary software, so we don't know why that message is displayed (are them trying to read a correct file the wrong way?). If word would work in the right way, you should complain with M$ that their import filter is broken and/or does not implement ODF 1.2. The only "fix" LiBo could do were if you could demonstrate that we save the file contrary to the Open Document Format specifications, that is not the case. You can only demonstrate that some version of M$Office is broken with some version of ODF. LibreOffice 3.x or 4.x have this bug instead. I understand the technical reason (copy the format) but of course users don't think in the "implementation way" but in the meaningful logical way, or the way you would to if done manually. In fact the command is "insert a new row" not "clone the current one", so if I insert a row under the one with 1 as numbered paragraph, I expect it to be numbered 2, not 1 again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57189 Marco Menardi changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #5 from Marco Menardi --- I've tested with the 2003 version of a different office suite. Some of the insert/delete cell options can be achieved inserting/removing rows/columns, but there are some that can not, or are not so convenient. I've created a table with 5 rows and 3 columns, see attachments, and I put the cursor on the row 3, column 3. In the other program we have something like: Table -> Insert -> Cells... - "move cells right" produces current row with 4 columns, the other rows unchanged! (cell_insert_move_right.png) - "move cells down" adds a cell in the current position, moves below cells down adding a row at the bottom of the table (with first and last column empty) (cell_insert_move_down.png) - "insert whole row" inserts an entire row above current one - "insert whole column" inserts a column on the left of the current one Table -> Delete -> Cells... - "move cells to the left" removes current cell and produces row 3 with only 2 columns, other rows unchanged (you have a "hole") (cell_remove_move_left.png) - "move cells up" removes the current cell and moves below cells upward (cell_remove_move_up.png) With Calc 4.0 and older I've not found such features. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: john.pr...@cantab.net Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.0.0.beta1 Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice Problem description: The 'More options...' dialogue for databars is not usable if the condition categories are set to automatic. The problem appears to be that it automatically fills the box on the 'More options...' dialogue adjacent to 'Automatic' with zero for 'Automatic'; this cannot be deleted as the box is greyed out. The problem does not occur with 'min' or 'max' and these do not automatically contain a number. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select a cell 2. Select: Format → Conditional Formatting → Data Bar... 3. Select: More options... 4. This dialogue cannot now be closed without changing options. Current behavior: Error message: “Min value must be smaller than max value!” Expected behavior: no error message and the boxes next to the condition categories are not pre-populated with zeroes. This no longer is the case in 3.6.2.2. In other words, hyphens in words now are treated as if they were non-breaking dashs. I confirmed that other Ubuntu 12.10 users have the same issue. It's easy to reproduce this bug: write something in a new Writer document. At the end of a line, write a long word that doesn't match into the line. Add a simple hyphen (neither a protected/non-breaking dash, nor a definitive seperator) to the word. In earlier versions of LibreOffice, the line break was added behind the hyphen. Now, it's added in front of the full longword.
