[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 59268] Additional space in particular PDF export shown in "Document Viewer 2.30.3"
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59268 Rainer Bielefeld changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTOURBUG Severity|normal |trivial Summary|Missing space in particular |Additional space in |PDF export indicated by |particular PDF export shown |DiffPDF |in "Document Viewer 2.30.3" Keywords|regression | --- Comment #11 from Rainer Bielefeld --- (In reply to comment #10) Copying from What document(s)? Single page or 40 pages? It is really necessary to contribute clear information. I did my own tests with "Document Viewer 2.30.3". If there is a problem it is a "1 blank to much in export from LibO 4.0" problem, see Comment 4. I see the difference shown in reporters att. 2013-01-16 01:20 UTC, but currently that is only visible in "Document Viewer 2.30.3", not with Adobe Reader. So that's a "Document Viewer 2.30.3" problem, not our one. ARX does not show this difference. So I close this one NOTOURBUG for now. But I see something else what might be worth to submit a different bug, and might lead back to this one later: I opened both att. 2013-01-15 15:45 UTC in ARX, same zoom, same window size, same focus. Switching between the documents, in Export from LibO 4.0 the width of the characters seems to be a very little bit bigger. This observation is the same with "Document Viewer 2.30.3" and "ARX". But I can't reproduce this observation with own sample documents. @webofht-libreofficebugs002 It would be great if you could do some research concerning these observations and if you can confirm them you should submit a new bug (and add me to CC) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 59449] New: undefined: [suggestion] Font styles manager
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59449 Priority: medium Bug ID: 59449 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: undefined: [suggestion] Font styles manager Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: vitaliy.a.timoshe...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.0.1 rc Component: UI Product: LibreOffice It would be better if in font manager user can clear see: fonts that were added (for example blue color), fonts that were updated (for example green color). Plus, it would be better if user can do mass operations with font styles by using Ctrl and Shift buttons. For example mass deletion (more important) or mass option change (for example mass dependence from parent's font style). Why and when. If you need change your MS Office documents and bring it to LO, you create templates, and tune all as you need, create new font styles and hierarchy. After that you open MS-doc and get random number with random structure font's styles from it. Basically you can't work at all. What are you doing? You load you structure, your font styles, and do quick renew, re-set font styles inside document. But for the beginning you need kill all others old MS-styles. With styles manager that LO has now, it take more time for delete font's styles then renew styles in document. In my practice it's in 2-3 time longer. This creates a problem because the breakiterator is not 100% accurate for Thai or Khmer, so users cannot easily manually add Unicode joiners to re-join words that have been incorrectly split. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50672] UI Recent file menu sanitizes file names
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50672 --- Comment #2 from Edwin --- Created attachment 73119 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=73119&action=edit Visualization of Problem I filed this bug originally a while back, and it was marked as invalid. Just today, I noticed that I am still encountering the problem. I am still on Ubuntu, 64-bit. Now I am running 12.10, and LibreOffice is at Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1 (Build:2)) The filenames are still being goofed in the Recent Menu. I have attached an image. For example, I commonly have files named: figure_XYDimensions.png figure_SomethingElse.png In the recent menu, the underscores are gone. And (this may help narrow down the problem) when the recent menu is first shown, the filenames are plain, but as I hover over that menu, the underscores appear as an underline to the letter following their original position. This hints that the underscore is perhaps being interpreted as the shortcut for that menu item. This happens in the core LibreOffice, not just when a single instance (calc, draw, etc.) is open. Let me know if I can provide any further details, I know it isn't a serious issue, but it seems like it may be a simple fix to just *not* process recent file underscores as shortcut identifiers. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 59433] New: Missing localization for Extension Manager with some locales
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59433 Priority: medium Bug ID: 59433 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Missing localization for Extension Manager with some locales Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: mihh...@gmail.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: 4.0.0.1 rc Component: Localization Product: LibreOffice Although translated in Pootle, the Extension Manager remains partly unlocalized if LibO UI language is set to certain languages, including my native Estonian. The buttons "Help" and "Close" are translated in all cases, as are the names and descriptions of the extensions themselves, but for some languages the rest is shown in English. This has been this way for as long as I can remember in 4.0 branch -- I attributed it to build being out of sync with Pootle, but apparently this is not the case, as the partial localization is still present in 4.0.0 RC 1, which has been synced AFAIK. Tried with a blank user profile on Linux x86 (Debian) and Windows XP. Tested with some other languages as well, here are the results: affected by this bug: Estonian, Italian, Esperanto, Spanish, Hungarian, Basque, Japanese (all have the strings translated in Pootle) + possibly more; unaffected: French, German, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian Bokmål, Danish, Scottish Gaelic, Catalan, Portuguese, Romanian, Greek, Russian + probably more. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
