Many users have 500+ fonts and don't recall what each nice serif one is named. I propose a feature that would allow a user to alternately list the fonts if they would like. This way one who wanted to could put all the serif fonts together, all the outline fonts together, all the monospace together, etc... It would be wonderful if this was in a settings window that allowed dragging/dropping of the font list to setup the user's custom list. Possible exporting of that list would also be extremely wonderful but slightly unnecessary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Looks as reported in any of my Versions with any of my Profiles (or fresh new profile) until 4.1.0.0.+: 'Move/Copy sheet' for the only single sheet of a document shows up the expected dialog, but both radio buttons 'Action' are greyed out. The question is whether that is in accordance with style guides, or even whether we have style guides for such cases. Unfortunately I did not find a similar case with 2 radio buttons, but for example see attached screenshot comparison, wehre "greyed out" has different meaning. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60620] New: Formatting: loses first line ident setting when open existing Impress document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60620 Priority: medium Bug ID: 60620 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Formatting: loses first line ident setting when open existing Impress document Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: bugrepor...@bchemnet.com Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.0.3 release Component: Presentation Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 74571 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=74571&action=edit Slide missing first line ident in 4.0 The latest release has a regression (compared to 3.6.5) opening an Impress document with a negative first line ident results in a setting of zero, for all styles. The attached document illustrates what I mean: if opened in 3.6.5, the first line has an indent of -0.6 cm, and the other lines have an ident of 0.6 cm, for both Outline 1 and Outline 2 styles. However, in 4.0.0, only the 0.6 cm setting for all lines appears, and the first line ident is 0.0 cm for all styles. This appears to be loading problem, because if I set the ident back to -0.6 in 4.0.0 and save, then re-open in 3.6.5, the setting is correct (i.e., 4.0.0 can use and set the setting). However, opening again in 4.0.0 results in the 0.0 cm indent (i.e., 4.0.0 ignores the setting when the file is opened). Possibly related is that if I set Outline 1 to have the correct first line ident in 4.0.0, the setting does not carry through to the other (linked) styles, whereas it does if I change that setting in 3.6.5. The upshot is that I have numerous presentations that now have a slight shift in ident and consequently occasional unexpected (new) line wrapping, and this effectively makes 4.0.0 worthless for me unless I completely redesign thousands of slides. In the event it is relevant, I'm using the Debian packages currently in experimental. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60260] Corrupted first headers when editing in 4.0.0.3 an ODT created with a previous version
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60260 --- Comment #4 from Jonathan S --- The results of a few experiments I've done: - If I save, using LO 4.0.0.3, the attached example file in Flat XML (.fodt) format, and reopen that .fodt file, then LO 4.0.0.3 shows the correct headers. (Same result with the longer private file). - Using LO 4.0.0.3, I can get the correct headers to appear in the original .odt file (as attached) by editing some of the styles in the document, but if I save the document and then reopen that .odt file, the corrupt header is back. - If I make a trivial edit to the attached example file in LO 4.0.0.3 (so that the corrupt header is still showing) and save it, then reopen it in an old version (LO 3.5.4 is what I used), then the header appears fine. This implies that no data is being corrupted, it's just that LO 4.0.0.3 is *showing* the header incorrectly, but only if the file is .odt. If the file is .fodt, then the header appears correctly. It *seems* to follow (guessing here!) that the left/right-ness of the first header is calculated wrongly when an .odt file (but not an .fodt file) is *opened*. Note too that the incorrect headers get exported to PDF, so it's not just a question of what's onscreen being incorrect - the incorrect headers are in some sense there in LO 4.0.0.3. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60495] Formatting: Appears to have no effect on numbers
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60495 --- Comment #2 from j.d.kni...@tesco.net --- Graham, I can confirm that it appears to only affect calculated fields. Both suggestions made by mariosv do work. My reservation with using the setting the options method is that 'recalculation on file load' implies that it recalculates all ODF spreadsheets (not saved in LibreOffice). This is confusing as it was saved by LibreOffice, albeit an earlier version. Also you may not want to recalculate ODF files from other sources? It bothers me more that saving the file using 4.0.0.3 does not resolve the actual problem, as reloading the file takes you back to the original problem. Pesonally I will just do a manual (Ctrl+Shift+F9) for now. May I suggest looking at the code that reads the file in and makes the appropriate decision to recalculate or not.
