[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63013] New: cursor and bullets
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63013 Priority: medium Bug ID: 63013 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: cursor and bullets Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: dm...@yahoo.com Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.1.2 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice 1) The bullets are very sporadic in size and shape. They have a tendency to NOT have continuity when you leave them and come back a paragraph or two later. 2) The cursor has a tendency every once in awhile to jump back up the page several paragraphs whenever you pause your typing. This results in duplication of text. The selection may consist of just the end-of-line of the preceding paragraph. Drop it anyuwhere within the next paragraph, including at the end, and text is duplicated. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create nine paragraphs of text (a minimum of five lines is required for testing, but more allows for the testing of a selection consisting of multiple paragraphs), i.e.: Paragraph1. Paragraph2. I verified this behaviour using the menu Insert File option as well as simply dragging a slide from one presentation to another. In both cases, a comment attached to the imported slide was lost. Verified on both Linux x64 Windows. The severity is debatable as many may not care about comments, yet this behaviour does represent a subtle data loss which might not be immediately noticed. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48344] CONFIGURATION: New OpenDocument Text uses different default page size
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48344 --- Comment #2 from Jon Grossart j...@grossart.net --- I started to notice this problem (I think it's the same one) starting with 4.0 Right click in Explorer to create a new document, and open new document. It will be whatever LO has as it's original default document. Since I changed my default document template, I would expect that to be used for a new document. Under the older releases, when you opened this blank document, it would prompt to update styles from the default template, which would then work correctly (even though it seems like an extra step that shouldn't be needed). @ydutrieux - if you're saying that using the right click context menu and the menu within LibO itself used different template setups, then that sounds like a design issue, even if it's bug. How is a user going to know what template will be used in that case? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 56015] Insane use of _PC_NAME_MAX
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56015 --- Comment #3 from Cesar Eduardo Barros ces...@cesarb.net --- (In reply to comment #2) Heh, I wasn't aware we even had a bug for this :-) Just to mention that in the mean time apparently all (relevant for LibreOffice) systems use a sufficiently large dirent d_name size, e.g. of NAME_MAX+1, even Solaris ... If that is the case, why not just use struct dirent directly, backed by a static assert to make sure it is large enough? I drafted up a quick-and-dirty patch (not even compile tested) to show what I mean, feel free to fix it up and submit to the repository. By the way, while writing it I noticed a #ifdef AIX in one of the files. Does LibreOffice still support AIX? If not, removing leftover AIX compat code is yet another code cleanup opportunity. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63049] New: FILESAVE: Form field control properties not being saved in odg files
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63049 Priority: medium Bug ID: 63049 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: FILESAVE: Form field control properties not being saved in odg files Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: alain.trembl...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.1.2 release Component: Drawing Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 77346 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=77346action=edit A simple odg file with form fields. Problem description: When creating a form in an odg file it will not save the form field control properties, such as the background colour or the border of the form field. This works in odt files, but not in odg files. Important note: If you want to create a form on top of a pdf you can't use an odt file, you have to use an odg file. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new libreoffice drawing 2. Make the form controls toolbar visible 3. Turn on design mode 4. Select the text box option from the tool bar 5. Create a text box 6. Right click on the text box and select Control... 7. In the properties box under the General tab change the Border style to without frame 8. In the properties box under the General tab change the Background color to green 9. Close the properties dialog box 10. Save the file you have created and close Libreoffice 11. Re-open the file and the properties you have set will not be there. Note that I have also looked at the xml generated in content.xml - the properties are not saved in this file for odg files, but are saved in odt files. I even tried manually introducing these properties in an odg file's content.xml, but when you open the odg file it ignores and removes these properties. Current behaviour: broken Expected behaviour: works perfectly to increase the love of open source software ;-) Operating System: Mac OS X Version: 4.0.1.2 release -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
