[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63154] replace tools/solar.h macros with osl versions
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63154 --- Comment #3 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com --- SVLIBRARY should not go into a URE header, as it codifies non-URE knowledge---namely, that some LO libraries carry a lo in their name. The best solution appears to be to keep this in a non-URE header. If there's no better place than tools, maybe create a dedicated tools/inc/tools/lomodulename.hxx with a TOOLS_LOMODULENAME macro. And in any event, let that macro re-use SAL_MODULENAME (sal/inc/osl/module.h), TOOLS_LOMODULENAME(name) SAL_MODULENAME(name lo). The second best solution would be to change the existing uses of SVLIBRARY directly to SAL_MODULENAME, hard-coding the lo into them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63460] New: Northern/Central/Southern Kurdish
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63460 Priority: medium Bug ID: 63460 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Northern/Central/Southern Kurdish Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: tima...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: unspecified Component: Localization Product: LibreOffice Locales for LibreOffice only include Northern Kurdish, and it's named Kurdish instead of the correct Kurdish, Northern (Kurdish encompasses all variants of the language, it's unspecific). Central Kurdish and Southern Kurdish need to be added too since they are basically different languages. Central and Southern Kurdish use a modified arabic script by default and are RTL whereas Northern Kurdish by default uses latin script and is LTR. I will suggest the mappings without country codes, this is because the variants of Kurdish are similar throughout each country and there's not much of a use in separating things by country. If country codes are an absolute must I can suggest them anyway. The three letter 639-3 codes should be used in the locale settings for the Kurdish variations and not the two letter 639-1 codes, the suggested names in the following list should be used and not simply Kurdish. --- Codes and mappings (ISO 639-3): Mapping: ckb Info: RTL, unicode Language list: English: Kurdish, Central French: Kurde, Centrale German: Kurdisch, Zentral Kurdish, Northern: Kurdí Sorani Swedish: Kurdiska, Central Turkish: Kürtçe, Orta Mapping: ckb-Latn Language list: English: Kurdish, Central (latin) French: Kurde, Centrale (latin) German: Kurdisch, Zentral (lateinisch) Kurdish, Northern: Kurdí Sorani (latînî) Swedish: Kurdiska, Central (latinsk) Turkish: Kürtçe, Orta (latin) Mapping: kmr Language list: English: Kurdish, Northern French: Kurdes du nord German: Kurdisch, Nördliches Kurdish, Northern: Kurdí Kurmancî Swedish: Kurdiska, Nordlig Turkish: Kürtçe, Kuzey Mapping: sdh Info: RTL, unicode Language list: English: Kurdish, Southern French: Kurdes du sud German: Kurdische, Süd Kurdish, Northern: Kurdí Xwarig Swedish: Kurdiska, Sydlig Turkish: Kürtçe, Güney Mapping: sdh-Latn Language list: English: Kurdish, Southern (latin) French: Kurdes du sud (latin) German: Kurdische, Süd (lateinisch) Kurdish, Northern: Kurdí Xwarig (latînî) Swedish: Kurdiska, Sydlig (latinsk) Turkish: Kürtçe, Güney (latin) note: About the ku-TR and ku-SY that are currently there: change the language list name for them from Kurdish to Kurdish, Northern. This means that there will be three Kurdish, Northern in total (ku-TR, ku-SY and kmr). All language tools and localizations should be updated and assigned to kmr (and not to ku), once that's done I guess ku-TR and ku-SY can be removed. If someone still wants to differentiate between Northern Kurdish in different countries, then the mappings kmr-XX can be used (and not ku-XX as ku is the macrolanguage kurdish and not specifically Northern Kurdish). note 2: sdh-Latn and ckb-Latn are LTR and use the same script as kmr. I think they use unicode, but I'm not 100%. note 3: In the language list, when I write Kurdish, Northern:, I mean the localization that is currently named Kurdish. Like I said, this localization should be renamed to Kurdish, Northern. --- Microsoft added Central Kurdish to Windows 8 and Office 2013. Here are the LCIDs for Windows 8 (they're probably the same for Office 2013): Central Kurdish, 0x0092, ku Central Kurdish, 0x7c92, ku-Arab Central Kurdish Iraq, 0x0492, ku-Arab-IQ (source: http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/5/E/95EF66AF-9026-4BB0-A41D-A4F81802D92C/[MS-LCID].pdf ) A Word 2013 document written in sorani/arabic script and marked as Central Kurdish Iraq is assigned the code ku-Arab-IQ in the xml, just as the Microsofts LCID list says (so 0x0492 should be linked to ckb). Text written in latin can't be assigned Central Kurdish Iraq in Word 2013, this indicates that Central Kurdish Iraq (ku-Arab-IQ) is reserved for sorani/arabic script only. Perhaps then, ku is reserved for Central Kurdish latin (if true then 0x0092 should be linked to ckb-Latn) and ku-Arab for Central Kurdish throughout all countries – ie Iraq+Iran – meaning that 0x7c92 should be linked to ckb. But it's hard to say at the moment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63464] New: [FORMATTING] cross-reference to footnote or endnote is not wrong format
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63464 Priority: medium Bug ID: 63464 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: [FORMATTING] cross-reference to footnote or endnote is not wrong format Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: o...@dci-electronics.nl Hardware: Other Status: NEW Version: 3.5.7.2 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 77862 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=77862action=edit writer document with footnote and cross-reference to footnote When inserting a footnote or endnote, the reference is formatted as in the footnote style (i.e. smaller font and superscript). When however a cross-reference to an existing footnote or endnote is inserted, the refecence is not formatted at all. There is no way to do this whilst inserting, you must select the reference after inserting and set the character style or properties. The attachment shows what happens. It should be possible - and straightforward for users - to give the cross-reference to footnote and endnotes the same style as is used for references to footnotes and endnotes, either by default (which would have my preference) or selectable at the time of inserting the cross-reference. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

If you added 0, the date has been set two days before the original date. This has been corrected. But it has only be corrected by a workaround of the format. The internal values of the date are wrong. This do you see, when you have a look at the same date, only formated with the number-format number, not date. 1899-12-30 has the internal value 0. The first page has two rectangles; both have Interaction defined to take you to pages 5 and 6, respectively. Then I saved the document as .ppt; this version is also attached. If I open the .odp in LO 4.0.2.2 on MacOS, everything works as expected. If I open the .ppt in LO 4.0.2.2 on MacOS, however, I see the following behavior: * Clicking the rectangles in page 1 works if you are in editing mode - i.e. they take you to pages 5 and 6. * If you go to full screen presentation mode, clicking on the rectangles doesn't work - they just take you to the next page, as if you had clicked anywhere. The expected behavior is that in presentation mode, clicking on the rectangles will take you to the pages for which they have interaction defined. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 36858] Oracle Report Builder date calculation error
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36858 --- Comment #16 from Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu --- OK, the situation now is inconsistent, and this is indeed a bug. The start date (or epoch) should be the same in all situations. But: 1) I don't feel bound to make the epoch 30/12/1899, rather than 1/1/1900 or 13/9/1515 or any other date. Note that in Calc, the epoch is (per-file!) setting between three choices. 2) I don't feel bound to make the integer be 'days since the epoch' rather than 'seconds or hours or ... since the epoch' The existing reportbuilder seems to have 1/1/1900 as epoch, so I'm unifying all cases in the example document to that. Maybe other corner cases are still wrong, but the true complete fix goes through fixing bug 63478 first, and then Report Builder stays out of date-to-integer conversion: if it gets a date, it puts a date, and formatting takes care of making a number of it, and vice-versa. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
