[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 64731] New: Feature Request - Make text selection for comments moveable / editable
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64731 Priority: medium Bug ID: 64731 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Feature Request - Make text selection for comments moveable / editable Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: gabs...@gmail.com Hardware: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1 Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Currently Libreoffice Writer allows you to apply comments to a text range. However once the comment has been applied, if you want to change the text range (include more or less words) that the comment applies to, you need to remove the comment and add a new comment. It would be handy to have the ability to alter the area that the comment applies to after you have inserted the comment. This might be done by having some sort of grab handle on each side of the area that the comment is applied to which allows the area to be expanded or reduced. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64641 --- Comment #10 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de --- I have had a look at the screenshot. You will filter data from the Mac-Adressbook. This special configuration could only be tested by persons, who will use a Mac. So I have tried it with LO under Linux and the Thunderbird-Adressbook. Couldn't get any contact to the adressbook with LO 4.0.3.3 - another bug. When I try the filter with LO 3.3.4 Base will shutdown immediately - recovering next start. The normal filtering of internal databases work with both versions. I had used Similarity search in the past and the option remained active in all my future searches. This should not be the case. Once an advanced option is used, I think it would be useful to reset then to default when a second search is done or at least when the application is closed. One other option is to show which advanced options are enabled, even if the advanced options button is not pressed. Furthermore, this advanced option was being applied even when pressing ctrl + f. There is no clue to what advanced options are being used without knowing. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54854] calc add-in functions are not evaluated as expected
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54854 --- Comment #11 from Forester pbronline-freedesk...@yahoo.co.uk --- Salut Jacques, The PageName extension is derived from the DoobieDoo example that can be found here: http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Calc/Add-In/Python_How-To. The example is 4 years old and was written for the other Office but I was unable to find any other documentation that did not look a lot older and out-of-date. You can download a zip file from the DoobieDoo page. This contains an oxt file. I used this to install the extension (under LibreOffice 3.5.7). It seemed to install OK and the add-in function seem to work OK as well. I will attach a simple python script that can be run as a macro from the UI that inserts several simple formula that call the DoobieDoo functions. The macro does not refer to Sheet1 but you may still have to modify it yourself if your numbers use a «virugle décimal» instead of a decimal point. When I run the script I get Err:508 for the numeric functions and Err:509 for the string functions. As with PageName, selecting a cell containing a 'bad formula' and entering the key sequence F2, SPC, RET causes the function to be re-entered at the UI and the error goes away. I rebuilt the DoobiBoo oxt file under 3.5.7 using my methods. I get the same results. This suggests the package itself is not to blame. The errors suggest that LibreOffice (some component thereof) is unable to parse the formulae due to a syntax error. But there is no syntax error as the F2, SPC, RET sequence confirms. I also infer we do not see the #NAME! error because LibreOffice has given up on a syntax error and has not got as far a trying to look up the function. I think we do not see a syntax error with the PageName functions because they take only one parameter. We are perhaps looking at another bug here. One thing to note is that the first formula the script tries to enter is: =DOOBIEMULT(2.5,1.1) but what I see entered in the spreadsheet is: =DOOBIEMULT(2.5,10.1) where did the extra 0 come from ? I looks to me what whatever bit of code is trying to parse the formula is having a really bad day. However, the Help explains, and only explains, that you van set names by selecting a range. So is what you did not possible, or undocumented (worked previously?) and broken? Maybe it is an undocumented feature. I see two options: 1. Remove the potentially unintended feature. If it was an intended feature, this may not be the most pleasent idea. 2. Correct the bug, and document the feature. Honestly, I've made use of this feature in many instances, and would like to see it persist in the future, but if there are technical issues with saving the data or file format limitations, then it is understandable why it may be removed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
