https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64889 --- Comment #1 from Owen Genat owen.ge...@gmail.com --- Created attachment 79734 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=79734action=edit Example ODT containing three types of frame objects (all named). The original discussion for this bug is here: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/11182/how-can-i-make-a-cross-reference-to-a-text-box/ There are three effective frames in the attached example. One is inserted via Insert Frame... and has this XML: draw:frame draw:style-name=fr1 draw:name=Frame1 text:anchor-type=paragraph svg:width=119.99pt svg:height=60.01pt draw:z-index=2 draw:text-box ... /draw:text-box /draw:frame The second is a graphic (Insert Picture...) and has this XML: draw:frame draw:style-name=fr2 draw:name=graphics1 text:anchor-type=paragraph svg:width=299.99pt svg:height=150.01pt draw:z-index=1 draw:image xlink:href=Pictures/119000C815A4DFE2.jpg xlink:type=simple xlink:show=embed xlink:actuate=onLoad/ /draw:frame The third is a text box (inserted via the Drawing toolbar) and has this XML: draw:frame text:anchor-type=paragraph draw:z-index=0 draw:name=Textbox1 draw:style-name=gr1 svg:width=120.02pt svg:height=76.48pt svg:x=361.84pt svg:y=18pt draw:text-box ... /draw:text-box /draw:frame All three objects are named (e.g., Frame1, graphics1, and Textbox1 respectively) and yet it is not possible to insert a cross-reference to any of these objects via the usual Insert Cross-reference... The same as for example a diagram, or a part of a spreadsheet in a text document. An object has to be activated before it is possible to work in it. I doubt very much if that behaviour of double clicking can be changed. So if this issue is not te be closed as 'won't fix' then it would be an enhancement. (What maybe helps a bit: if one object is selected, the context menu has the item 'Edit'. Done with editing Escape, and then Tab goes to the next formula.) As I said in IRC, I can reproduce this behavior using Mac OSX 10.8.3 with LibreOffice 43c234b0481fe63b8c4823affad066c6362f506. I don't have this behavior using LibreOffice 4.0.3.3, so that's definitely a regression. I saw already some related/same bugs passing by regarding this issue, but they are reported against older versions of LibreOffice. This is a regression, so lets report it separately and as such. Due the fact this is a regression and is !very! annoying and is a *core* feature (writing is a core feature in writer, right ;-)?) I mark this as Critical Medium. In the future please provide steps as to how you reproduce bugs as it helps tremendously - even in cases where it seems quite straight forward. In this case knowing what type of graphs you're using, testing on the latest release is always a plus when reporting (even if you choose to stick on 3.6 series). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 39007] Persistent Restore Windows dialog won't disappear, disables key functionality
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39007 --- Comment #76 from Norbert Thiebaud nthieb...@gmail.com --- 1/ the fix http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=41747c962603222b2d6221a9f5fca28cd71c103a is in 4.0 and above. so yes 3.5 and 3.6 versions are not 'fixed', and are not 'forward' compatible to new version of Mac OSX. These version were never meant to support or tolerate OS 10.8 since that did not exist then they were branched 2/ bear in mind that the fix does not solve the problem of a pre-existing issue with the restore dialogue popping up. the patch prevent it from occuring in the first place. iow if you had the 'restore dialog' problem and install the new version that it itself will not solve it. in 4.0 and above with the patch indicated above, we tell MacOSX _not_ to save the dreaded savedState file that the 'workaround' teach us to manually delete. But if that 'state' file already exist there is no other solution but to delete it first. 3/ with that in mind: I could not reproduce the problem on a Mac 10.8.2 I start a new instance force quit either on the launch screen or in a calc document. I restart LibreOffice = no native MacOSX 'Restore Document' Dialogue. 4/ if someone can reproduce the problem, please post what version of the OS you are using + any relevant 'extensions' you use like accessibility; and please post a recipe how to reproduce, with a LibreOffice version of 4.0 or more -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
