Check if Autofit Text is ON = is on 3. Duplicate slide by right click on slide in Slides window and select Dublicate 4. Select text frame that size can be adjusted by “Reduce Font” toolbar icon 5. Click “Reduce Font” icon = font size increases, text frame is better filled 6. Repeat step 5 until text frame is filled to maximum 7. Continue step 5 = font size reduces and text frame filling is less than maximum Note 1: Using “Increase Font” button after step 4 decreases the font further and the filling of the text frame gets less. Note 2: In the sample slide a bullet ls used but the same effect is observed with bullets off. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57849 --- Comment #8 from andis.lazd...@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #7) Is this still an issue in 4.0/4.1/master? Hello! I'm not sure if it is supposed to be like it is, but in both, source and target file conditions in example file in I5 cell looks a bit strange - $Tabelle1.$T5#REF! and $Tabelle1.$T5=#REF! I guess some value is converted to #REF! while opening in 4.0.4.2. In 4.1.0.0.beta1 it looks exactly the same. I don't have other versions of libreoffice, but in openoffice.org 2.4.2 the same condition looks the same. Probably something is messed up already in sample files. From everyday work I have feeling, that the problem, that my problem is solved in 4.0.4 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66356] New: FORMATTING: Hoefler Text font-rendering problem on Mac
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66356 Priority: medium Bug ID: 66356 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: FORMATTING: Hoefler Text font-rendering problem on Mac Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: elraeb...@pacbell.net Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.0.3 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 81672 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=81672action=edit Screenshot of LibreOffice bug side-by-side with NeoOffice's correct rendering of font Problem description: There is a font on the Mac called Hoefler Text, an elegant serif font, Apple's version of Garamond. In the latest LibreOffice (4.0.4), and earlier, text formatted as Hoefler Text is rendered--incorrectly--as an ordinary-looking sans-serif font. If the same text is changed to bold or italic, the text is shown in the correct, elegant, bold or italic serif font, but if it is not formatted as bold or italic, the problem persists--the wrong font is rendered. I have not noticed any similar problem with any other Apple font. This problem also occurs in OpenOffice, but not in NeoOffice, and not in any other application on the Mac that I have tried. The font is rendered properly in such diverse apps as Thunderbird mail composer, Finale and MuseScore music-writing apps, and the native Mac apps TextEdit and FontBook. I have attached a screenshot of a LibreOffice window and a NeoOffice window, side-by-side, both with four lower-case and upper-case alphabets formatted as Hoefler Text, in regular, italic, bold, and bold italic. It is quite obvious from the screenshot that the upright (regular) text is rendered as the wrong font in LibreOffice. Also note in the example that in NeoOffice, when a word ends in t and is formatted as Hoefler Text italic (both bold and not bold), the final t has a fancy little trailing curlicue (sorry, I don't know the proper typographical name for it). LibreOffice does not do that, which I believe to be another bug in the rendering of this font. Steps to reproduce: 1. Format text as Hoefler Text regular, upright text, not italic or bold. Current behavior: Some unrelated sans-serif font is rendered. Expected behavior: The correct elegant serif font should be rendered. The problem remains un-changed. Perhaps this is not surprising, because it is a brand-new installation (my first ever installation of LO, although I have used OpenOffice previously, and normally use MS office, all on this machine). Since it seems a very obvious and fundamental bug, I would guess that it is most likely new, or surely there would have been many previous reports. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44135 --- Comment #52 from jwoithe jwoi...@just42.net --- Regarding the suggestion of a duplicate search in comment 50, I've done a few quick searches of the bug tracker. Searching for transparency gives around 64 matches, most of which seem to be related to gradients in some way. The closest I've seen to the symptoms discussed here are bug 33591, bug 36766 (a meta bug summarising a number of transparency-related issues mostly related to presentation mode), bug 54924 and bug 55698. However, after reading the detail from these I'm not convinced that any could be classified as duplicates of this one. To my inexperienced eyes, while they may be conceptually similar (in that transparency is in some way related) the symptoms really are not a good match for the ones being dealt with here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
