I'm from Russia, so my English is not perfect ;) Problem description: every month I print timesheet. previously it was "normal" (LibreOffice 4.0.3), after upgrade to LibreOffice 4.1.0 I've "lost" 10 horizontal "solid" Lines per page... downloaded 4.0.4, after downgrade got normal print (in 4.0.4) Steps to reproduce: 1. open existing document 2. press print 3. got "lost" horizontal lines on 2 and 3rd sheets. Current behavior: some horizontal solid lines didn't printed in version 4.1.0, but well printed in 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 Expected behavior: all horizontal solid lines should be printed. "cleared" version of document attached. (only 2nd and 3rd sheets with no personalized data) There is also a problem with "deleting" non used "vba macros", but it's not so "hard" problem... [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62769] Compatibility with MS Word and Skydrive
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62769 --- Comment #3 from Mike Kaganski --- I do not have a Mac. But I use LO and Skydrive for quite long time. And I have no problems there. I suppose that there is some problem in Mac app for SkyDrive, that prevents it to upload the modified document to MS server. There's no "criteria" that MS established: the Skydrive accepts just any file you put there; in MS Windows, when I use MS SkyDrive app for Windows, the only requirement is that it is not blocked by an editing software - so, while I have a document open in LO, it is not synchronized to Skydrive, but as soon as I close it, app detects it and synchronizez successfully. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54924] Export objects with transparency to PDF/A corrupts non-transparent gradients
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54924 --- Comment #15 from Owen Genat --- Created attachment 83870 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=83870&action=edit ZIP containing Inkscape SVG/PDF and Draw PDF/A-1a of Inscape SVG. Thanks Chris and kitaets for the clarification about the issue. I feel it would be helpful if we could obtain a PDF/A-1 document that contains a non-transparent gradient as a confirming example. The source does not need to be an LO document. I ask this because I am not sure how a non-transparent gradient is calculated and stored. Can anyone point to a definition of how a two-colour, non-transparent, single-gradient is calculated/stored? Do either layer use transparency? I can import an SVG created in Inkscape v0.48.3.1.r9886 (refer attached), which contains a basic gradient from 100% blue to 100% magenta and it exports from Draw v4.1.0.4 under GNU/Linux to PDF/A-1 without the blacking out effect in the original example. The resulting PDF does however suffer from incorrect angle of gradient and poor gradient quality. Can others create some two-colour, non-transparent, single-gradient object tests using different applications / graphic formats? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new spreadsheet. 2. Apply black thin borders (0.05pt). 3. Menu Format->Page...->Sheet->Scaling mode: Reduce/enlarge printout; Scaling factor: 130% 4. Export to PDF with default settings. Expected result: the borders are visible and consistent in resulting PDF. Actual result: the borders have different widths: some look normal, some have zero width (almost invisible at any zoom, up to 6400%). This problem happens at any scaling factor >100%. Scaling factors <=100% are OK. Please note that this is not a reader-dependent problem: if you import the PDF to draw, you may see that these hairlines are thinner there, too. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67918 Priority: medium Bug ID: 67918 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Writer should not have an isolated AXTextArea for each paragraph Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: m...@dusek.me Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: UI Product: LibreOffice In Writer, each paragraph forms a standalone AXTextArea. So if one moves cursor between paragraphs, VoiceOver announces "edit text Insertion on word: can after character: a ". But from the perspective of the VoiceOver user, they just moved "one line", so such huge announcements are unsubstantiated and confusing. Solution one is to have an AXTextArea for the whole page or even document. That would be a bit non-trivial to implement. Other solution is to have separate AXTextArea's like now, but they should not be isolated - we should group them using AXSharedTextUIElements. E.g. while Pages has an AXTextArea for each page (or each column on each page), it groups them all using AXSharedTextUIElements and VoiceOver then behaves as if it was one huge AXTextArea and does not announce the strange messages. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67917] New: Moving by word right moves to the beginning of next word, not end of current word on OS X
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67917 Priority: medium Bug ID: 67917 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Moving by word right moves to the beginning of next word, not end of current word on OS X Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: m...@dusek.me Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: UI Product: LibreOffice Summary: When moving by word right on OS X (e.g. using Option-right arrow), the text cursor ends right before the first character of the next word instead of right after the last character of the current word. This is inconsistent with other apps on OS X and probably causes VoiceOver to also read in a way inconsistent with other apps on OS X when moving word right. Steps to reproduce: 1. Have this text in Writer: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" 2. Put cursor right before "q" in the word "quick" 3. (optional) Turn on VoiceOver (e.g. using Cmd+F5) 4. Press Option-right arrow to move word right Expected results: The cursor ends right after "k" in word "quick" and before the space. If optional step 3. was taken, then VoiceOver will read word "quick" Actual results: The cursor ends right before "b" in word "brown" and after the space. If optional step 3. was taken, then VoiceOver will read word "brown" Regression: Tested on OS X 10.8.4 with LO 4.2 master (commit 39a78087890fb9255a5e47220bac6cfb956fcfe0). Notes: LO behavior is inconsistent with how other apps behave - for example of the apps: * TextEdit * Pages * Mail * Safari * TextMate * pretty much any app on OS X I also think this is the cause of why VoiceOver reads inconsistently with these other apps when moving by word right. What is more "amusing" is that the documentation for -[NSResponder moveWordRight:] basically says LO way is right even though no OS X app behaves that way and instead behaves according to "Expected results" above :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Running it on a LibreOffice.app that has been the target of a language pack installation, one gets: lilla-my:~ $ codesign --verify -v LibreOffice.app LibreOffice.app: a sealed resource is missing or invalid In architecture: i386 resource added: /Users/tml/LibreOffice.app/Contents/Resources/sv.lproj/InfoPlist.strings which indeed makes it clear that installing one or more language packs breaks the code signature of the app bundle. The "Resources" folder is always included when calculating the signature of an app bundle. The language-specific InfoPlist.strings files are quite small and seem contain translations for the names of the ODF document types: lilla-my:~ $ iconv -f UTF-16 -t UTF-8 ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67905] New: Enhancement: Add ability to turn off preview in print dialog
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67905 Priority: medium Bug ID: 67905 CC: jmadero@gmail.com Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Enhancement: Add ability to turn off preview in print dialog Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: crx...@hotmail.com Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.0.4 release Component: Printing and PDF export Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 83838 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=83838&action=edit File Print Dialog Preview on/off mockup The page "preview" area in the newer LO print dialog is nice for most users, most of the time. However, there are times when the delay required to render that preview is annoying. It is especially annoying on slow systems, on thin clients, on complex/big documents, and on users remotely running LO. And the negativity is compounded since the preview is re-rendered with most UI selection/changes (printer change, Properties, Page Layout, etc). There should be a "Preview" on/off checkbox below the page number indicator- and the setting remembered across sessions. We already have such an option in the file manager dialog when using Insert->Picture->From File. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62442] OSX 10.8.3 refuses to open LibreOffice
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62442 --- Comment #33 from Tor Lillqvist --- Well, how do you intend to get around the Gatekeeper prompt when running LibreOffice from the language pack installer? Anyway, I am not sure how often the problem here actually can occur. We don't sign the language pack installer apps, so to be able to run the language pack installer, the user has already had to either disable Gatekeeper, or know how to run the language pack installer without Gatekeeper getting into the way. So then he/she can use the same skill to run the language-pack-modified LibreOffice without Gatekeeper getting into the way;) Actually, I find it a bit ugly to modify the app bundle in the language pack installer. I haven't tried to look it up, but my gut feeling is that installed app bundles (like LibreOffice.app) should be treated as read-only and not be scribbled into by the app itself or another app even, as in this case (the language pack installer app, LibreOffice Language Pack.app). I think our language pack data should be put somewhere else, like in a ~/Library/LibreOffice Language Packs folder for instance, and then LibreOffice should simply be changed to look for its language-specific files there instead. Sounds easy to say of course, I don't know how hard it would be to implement... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I am attaching a screenshot that helps to illustrate. Steps to reproduce: * Create a Draw document * Set page size to Tabloid/11x17 * Optionally place a full page object on the page * File->Print * Notice the preview is for Letter/8.5x11 sized, since that is the default paper size for the printer * Go under properties and change the paper size to Tabloid/11x17 * Select "OK" and notice that the preview area is still Letter/8.5x11 sized This problem does not occur in Writer or Calc, which both seem to preview based on the page size, not the paper size. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62442 --- Comment #31 from Tor Lillqvist --- So is the consensus that the actual problem is that if the language pack installer is run on a newly downloaded (and copied to the hard disk) LibreOffice.app before it has been run once, the unpacking of the language pack data into the app bundle "destroys" its integrity, and Gatekeeper will refuse to run it?
