I have a table to enter each test case. Some times when I try to insert a new row, libre office crashes. Even the data in the table is lost. This is so irritating. With out this kind of basic thing not working, this is completely useless product. Opensource community needs a product which can substitute MS Office and that's the reason Sun started this project. Hi, Thanks for attaching the font for repro purposes, but... > This font is actually not freely distributable, so I assume that this will > be used for testing purposes only. Though you will find sites which freely > distribute this font, including this one, > http://bcps.org.bd/font/SutonnyBanglaOMJ.ttf. ...if there are licensing issues surrounding this font, I suggest that it not be made an attachment on FDO. We can either point to an external site such as the one you listed, or we can store the font internally (assuming we have permission to use the font internally at LibreOffice). I'm confused as to how this non-distributable fonts made it into a government standard. I don't know the background of this particular standard, but is there a possibility that we could suggest that the non-distributable fonts be replaced with freely-distributable, unicode-compliant alternatives? For an example, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberation_fonts > About comment #14, perhaps the commenter will try to understand that > SutonnyMJ (non Unicode) has not been recently gazetted as one of the > standard fonts to be used in all government documents. I already mentioned this font in this question http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/24884/incorrect-ctl-font-rendering-by-libreoffice-4/). This is one of the fonts selected as part of the standardization process by the Government of Bangladesh. I am attaching here that font for testing. This font is actually not freely distributable, so I assume that this will be used for testing purposes only. Though you will find sites which freely distribute this font, including this one, http://bcps.org.bd/font/SutonnyBanglaOMJ.ttf. About comment #14, perhaps the commenter will try to understand that SutonnyMJ (non Unicode) has not been recently gazetted as one of the standard fonts to be used in all government documents. SutonnyOMJ is among the selected ones along with Nikosh, SolaimanLipi, Vrinda, and Mukti. It will be a good idea to see whether LibreOffice 4 works fine with all these once release 4.1.4 comes out. LibreOffice 3 (and OpenOffice) work fine with all of these. Personally, I will remain happy if LibreOffice 4 works with SolaimanLipi. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71325] UI: INDEX function returns #VALUE error when optional arguments are omitted.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71325 --- Comment #1 from Ady --- I confirm inadequate behavior, in LO 4.1.3.2 on Windows. Additionally, explicitly using "zero" values for row and/or column (instead of leaving them empty, which should be equivalent to "zero" according to official help), are also resulting in a #value error. The only argument that is being accepted as optional is the last one ("range"), instead of accepting "row" and "column" as optional (or "zero") too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46461] compatibility issue with DOC format: Writer creates additional character styles (FILESAVE problem)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46461 rpr changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #1 from rpr --- I've checked this issue with LibreOffice 4.1.2.3 on a Debian GNU/Linux. When test1.doc is opened in LibO it shows that there are 10 odd character styles in the document: WW8Num1z0 WW8Num9z0 ... WW8Num10z0 After saving that document as test2.doc and reopening it the list of character styles stays the same. So, I could say that this bug was fixed somewhere between Libo 3.4.5 and 4.1.2.3. BTW, according to bug #50774 the WW8Num* styles are created when LibO converts Word's non-style autonumbering to a style-based numbering. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Create three lines of data and create an auto-filter, eg 1 FRUIT 2 Apple 3 Banana 4 Apple 2. Filter out the centre line using the auto-filter FRUIT=Apple 3. Use the mouse click and drag to select a block of cells covering the two remaining cells (ie 2A and 4A, both Apple). This also selects the hidden cell 3A (Banana). 4. Press CTRL-B and both visible cells are set BOLD 5. Press CTRL-B again Current behavior: Nothing happens, and if you look the hidden cells are NOT BOLD Expected behavior: The first CTRL-B should set both visible and hidden cells to BOLD. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71315] VIEWING: option "split" not displayed -
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71315 --- Comment #3 from Ady --- Is it possible that you are misunderstanding the usage of "split"? Split is not related to having multiple windows, but to splitting the working area of one (big) spreadsheet. It has nothing to do with viewing 2 different spreadsheet files (whether for comparison or for something else). Could you please provide a clear screenshot of your problem? Unless it can be understood and reproduced, this report cannot be solved. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57189 --- Comment #10 from Lukas Jelinek --- I would like to clarify what Urmas probably means. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select some cells in Calc. 2. Copy the selected cells. 3. Create a table in Writer and place the cursor into it. 4. Paste the clipboard content (Edit -> Paste or Ctrl+V). -- or alternatively -- 5. Open special paste dialog (Edit -> Paste special or Ctrl+Shift+V) and then select any paste method. Expected result: The table is inserted as cell-to-cell. Roughly speaking, each source cell's content is inserted into the appropriate destination cell. If the source cell set has more columns and/or rows then the destination one a dialog should be displayed. The user then choose how to handle this situation (truncate or extend). -- or alternatively -- The default behavior remains the same as now. But the special paste method list contains another item (e.g. "Cells") which provides the way described above.
