there a java version selected (selected radio button)?

I am also affected by this in 4.1.2.3 on Ubuntu 13.10.
This is extremely disruptive as a lot of forms come as partially protected xlsx
documents.

I confirm it with two different spreadsheets I got from two different
suppliers, as well as with the first attachment in this bug.

Here is a related question in AskLibreOffice:

fix hair & fine cell border export ( followon fix fdo#56960 )

1) align excel binary and oox import filter border thickness values
2) use new fine-dash border style
3) detect & determine hair vrs fine borderline on export

Change-Id: Ieb024bc6f4bfc87c525082c7b9a1f3c444f5c5ca

The commit solves an interop problem. The real problem is, that in print
preview the dashed lines are too thin -> invisible. Even when I printed it with
my HP Laserjet 1010, a few lines were invisible, most of them were there,
however.

I got this DOC file from my employer (see attachment).

After working it, I saved it as DOC again. Stupidly enough, all my changes were
gone and only an image + one table cell remained. Everything else: gone.

Saving copy as DOCX: same story.

Saving copy as ODT: fine

Saving copy as ODT, and THEN docx: bad again.

Thanks. I'll look at that later. The crash happens as soon as I hit save or
save as in a new file so I don't even get the chance to choose file format.

On Windows 7 sp1 64-bit
Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha1+

TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2013-11-18_00:10:12

Regression functioned correctly through 4.1.3.2 builds

We now have a keyboard trap on the UI Sidebar for Writer component in the
Paragraph panel.

Steps to reproduce
1. Launch LibreOffice Writer
2. to enter the Sidebar Tray on the Properties title bar
3. Cursor twice, onto the Paragraph panel
4. twice to enter the panel, landing on the Allign Left button of the
Allignment menu.
5. Cursor will move between items of Allignment menu
6. should position to the next menu on the panel--Bullets & Numbering. It
does not. Remainder of panel is inaccessible via keyboard, and navigation
trapped in Allignment menu. key is necessary to break out of the panel.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 44462] Provide a proper 'File Association Manager' for the windows version of Libreoffice

2013-11-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44462

This should be expanded to linux as well. The new version of Apache OOo
overwrites all of the existing LO file associations. Right clicking in the file
manager (Nautilus/Nemo etc) works for basic file manager associations, however
that does not resolve the mime associations for mail & browser clients
(SeaMonkey, Firefox, Chromium etc) & other non-file manager applications.

Also please provide more information about the crash, so someone could try to
reproduce it. For example:
- When do the crash occurs, right after clicking the 'Save' menu, or by
confirming the file dialog (or at another point)?
- Does it happen only with a specific file format, or it doesn't matter?
- Does it happen with a newly created document?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71805] New: Other: Conversion error to Excel

2013-11-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71805

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 71805
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Other: Conversion error to Excel
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
  Reporter: w3wil...@gmail.com
  Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.1.3.2 release
 Component: Spreadsheet
   Product: LibreOffice

Created attachment 89485
  --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=89485&action=edit
Word doc showing screen snips of conversion errors

Functions built in Excel get mangled after being used in LO Spreadsheet and
then used again in Excel.

Create a sheet with Excel 2013 with some functions defined in "Name manager".
See attached doc.

In the attached Word doc the first screen snip is from the original sheet
created in Excel. Note the highlighted "frequency" and "periods_per_year"
items. These functions work fine in Excel.

This sheet was then open in LO Spreadsheet and seemed to work just fine. The
sheet was then saved and re-opened in Excel.

Note in the attached that the "frequency" and "periods_per_year" have been
changed so that they are treated as literals so that they no longer evaluate to
numbers which causes failures when used in formulas.

I also fail to reproduce, tested using Mac OSX 10.9 with LibreOffice Version:
4.2.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 9c45345a680f7444df251f9403c7d56572380f21
TinderBox: MacOSX-x86@49-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2013-11-18_12:43:03

On step 6 my merged cell is just A1 and others keeps their logical order (A2
and B2 in next column, etc).

Kind regards,
Joren

problem ;)
So it is helpful -> Same error on Win with 4.1
No error with 4.2 -> So Pls check with a Linux daily
