[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71955] New: UI: Font Color button in toobar fixes to darkred after inserting an Object.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71955 Priority: medium Bug ID: 71955 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: UI: Font Color button in toobar fixes to darkred after inserting an Object. Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: tyson...@mail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.3.2 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice Problem description: Normally, When you use the Font Color button in the toolbar to apply any text color other than the default dark red, the font color button would change to the just applied color. But if you insert an Object after that, the color on the Font Color button fixes to dark red, while still applies the color you just used. Steps to reproduce: 1. Type some text and select them. 2. Font Color button in toolbar > Drop list > apply any text color other than the default dark red (like Sky Blue 9) 3. Menu > Insert > Object, insert a chart of a formula. 4. Select some normal text, so the toolbar returns to its normal state. 5. Font Color button's current color becomes dark red (the default color) 6. Click on the Font Color button to apply text color. 7. Although the color on the button is dark red, the actual result is still Sky Blue 9. However, the color displayed on the button doesn't change to Sky Blue 9 after the click. 8. Click on the drop list of Font Color button and select any color other than Sky Blue 9 (the color you choose before you insert the Object) 9. The color on the button changes, and it works normally again. Current behavior: The Font Color button displays incorrect current color after inserting an Object. It is not clear whether the requirement of recording relative cell references (e.g., A1 instead of $A$1) via the macro recorder facility is even possible. If it is not then this enhancement probably requires the Component changed from Documentation to either BASIC or Calc. There are two macros in Module 1 in the attached ODS, which was created under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a: - Click_A1 - Cursor_A1 In both cases I started with cell B1 selected. In Click_A1 I recorded a single click on cell A1. In Cursor_A1 I recorded a single left cursor key movement. As can been seen from the generated code, Click_A1 contains: dim args1(0) as new com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue args1(0).Name = "ToPoint" args1(0).Value = "$A$1" dispatcher.executeDispatch(document, ".uno:GoToCell", "", 0, args1()) ... while Cursor_A1 contains: dim args1(1) as new com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue args1(0).Name = "By" args1(0).Value = 1 args1(1).Name = "Sel" args1(1).Value = false dispatcher.executeDispatch(document, ".uno:GoLeft", "", 0, args1()) This is confirmed by what is indicated in this old OOo forum thread: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=89793 There appears no way to obtain a relative cell reference using the macro recording facility. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 70437] Other: Restore predetermine libreoffice template when you erase the predetermine personalized one
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70437 Jean-Baptiste Faure changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG CC||jbf.fa...@sud-ouest.org --- Comment #1 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- [I assume that by "predetermined template" you mean default template] I disagree. You should manage your LibreOffice templates from LibreOffice. Doing that prevent you to make this mistake of removing a file which is used. If you delete the default template and try to create a new document, you get indeed an error saying that the file (which is used as default template) is missing and then Writer create a new document based on the hardcoded default template. You will get this error message until you correct the problem. It is the correct behavior because LibreOffice can't know if you delete the file willingly or by mistake. So LibreOffice does what you want (default template is restored) but says you that it is probably not what you wanted. I think this behavior is the correct one, so I will close this bug report as NotABug. Best regards. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70381 Jean-Baptiste Faure changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX CC||jbf.fa...@sud-ouest.org --- Comment #2 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- Hmm, it is not a good idea to anchor an image to the page and to insert a page before it. When you anchor an image to the page you probably think "that page" when the software can't do something else than "the page at that position". If you anchor your image to the paragraph, it will be still on the landscape page if you insert a new page before it. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 70376] RTL file names do not display properly on the window bar
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70376 --- Comment #6 from Khaled Hosny --- In my system TextEdit shows only the file name in the titlebar, so I can’t compare this. But the LibreOffice issue can be easily explained; LibreOffice sets the title as - LibreOffice , if the file name starts with a strong left to right character then Mac OS X displays the string with RTL base direction, and then we get the ugly mix of RTL and LTR text. You can easily reproduce this by typing the string: نص.odt - LibreOffice Writer In Writer and setting the text direction to RTL, you will end up with the same mix. One solution to this is to drop the " - LibreOffice " from the title bar entirely. Another solution is to force the title to always have a LTR direction by appending a U+200E (Left To Right Mark), but what about users using RTL UI? Detect it and insert U+200F (Right To Left Mark) instead? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The other applications show no problem of this. This goes for the Menu Titles & entires, the listings in the Navigator, Styles & Formatting, Tools -> Options, and File Dialog (for opening and saving Files), which BTW, I was not using LibreOffice Dialogs for files, but now the issue is forced. The option in Options -> LibreOffice -> General now has the selection for "Print Dialogs" [Use LibreOffice Dialogs] and that is unchecked. Current behavior: Font Size as explained above too small, at least in Write and Calc. Steps to Reproduce: Open Document Save as .doc Look at page 2 and 3, you can see that a page break is thrown in after the first line of page 2 (which isn't in the original odt at all). Additionally you can see that styles are changed. In the original odt the first page is "first page" everything else is "default style" with the .doc the same document first two pages are "default style" and then all other pages become this "convert 1" style (which isn't used at all in the odt). I did the same procedure on the last stable release of 3.6 and we get similar problems with styles but no page break -> the styles issue is that all pages become "default style" which is actually preferred over the current setup which completely screws up all formatting. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69888 Jean-Baptiste Faure changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jbf.fa...@sud-ouest.org --- Comment #6 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- The dialog does not change the dimension of the image because the only real dimension of a bitmap is in pixels. Whatever you set in the dialog the size in pixels will be always the same. The relationship between pixels and cm or inch depends on the medium on which you show your image, because each medium has its own pixel size. On a screen you usually have 120 pixels/inch, on paper it depends on the printer. If you want to modify the size (in pixels) of the exported image you should change the size of your drawing in menu Format > Page. Conclusion: for there is no bug here. Best regards.
