I have tested the attachments under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running: - v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6 - v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602 - v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b - v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b - v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24 - v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a In each case I opened the XLS from comment #2 in Calc and pasted it into Draw from the same version. The chart is pasted as expected (without a sub-title) under each of the listed versions. In comment #9 several above the lines fields appear to have been erroneously changed: - Architecture from All to x86 (IA32) - Platform from Windows (All) to Linux (All)[1] - Version from 3.5.5.3 to 3.5.4 Given the erroneous nature of comment #9 (it was indicated in comment #8 that the issue of the sub-title returning as described in comment #5 is a SEPARATE issue) I am changing all these fields back to their original values. [1] This in particular would seem spurious as the ODG attachment was indeed created under LO v3.5 for Windows. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The cross-references do indeed appear to display an error, although to what degree this is a valid enhancement will need a developer / expert to look into.[1] I can understand how this particular use case might be seen as inappropriate for a cross-reference.[2] I am attaching screenshots taken under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 running these LO versions: - v3.3.0.4 OOO330m19 Build: 6 - v3.4.6.2 OOO340m1 Build: 602 - v3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5b - v3.6.7.2 Build ID: e183d5b - v4.0.6.2 Build ID: 2e2573268451a50806fcd60ae2d9fe01dd0ce24 - v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a In each case I have opened the master document (File Open GlobalDoc.odm) and then opened the sub-document (Doc2.odt) via Navigator. In all cases the screenshots show the Fehler: Referenz nicht gefunden (English: Error: Reference not found) message when the sub-document is opened, as you originally reported. [1] Doc1.odt uses a ranged reference mark i.e., Insert Cross-reference... Cross-references tab Set reference Name of One. XML for the anchor: text:p text:style-name=P1 Header text:reference-mark-start text:name=One/ One text:reference-mark-end text:name=One/ /text:p Doc2.odt uses a cross-reference to a known reference mark (manually entered, rather than selected as the link is between two separate documents) i.e., Insert Cross-reference... Cross-references tab Insert reference Insert reference to Reference Name of One. XML for the source: text:p text:style-name=P1 Here is the reference: text:reference-ref text:reference-format=text text:ref-name=OneFehler: Referenz nicht gefunden/text:reference-ref /text:p [2] Usually a cross-reference is made within a single document. Master + sub-documents complicate this of course, with separate documents effectively merging to form a single document (which is why the link works fine in the master view). I am unclear to what degree a cross-reference rather than hyperlink (which is a more global link that also can use bookmark and reference mark anchors) is expected to be used in this type of situation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 64886] The default chart type of a newly created chart should be elegible
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64886 --- Comment #6 from Francisco franciscoadriansanc...@gmail.com --- I agree that styles for charts are a better option in the long therm (I had already filled the bug 62540 also, then it was marked as dup of 62925). Nevertheless I also think it will take much more effort to implement, than being able to select the default chart type. I understand also that LibO has already many options, but that's because it can behave as 5(+2) applications at the same time: word processor, spreadsheet, presentation software, vector graphic app, database, +math equation editor and charts. How many software has the LibO capabilities? With such a wide range of fields, I think its natural that you will end with a lot of options. I don't know really how many options are too many for an app like LibO, though if that's the case *maybe* the problem is that's not balanced. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71940] Formatting - Conditional changes inappropriately and creates additional rules when it should not
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71940 --- Comment #2 from Aprax r...@jwcca.com --- I'd prefer that when Conditional Formatting Rules exist that they be left as is until I manually change them. LibreOffice doesn't really know 'what's good for me', but I do. The spreadsheet in the screenshots is relatively simple, a heading row followed by many 'item' rows. There aren't any totals. Nothing special. This is not the only sheet with this problem, I have 'many' others. I finally got fed up waiting for somebody else to get this fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71941] New: LO uses formatting from adjacent cell when it should not
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71941 Priority: medium Bug ID: 71941 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: LO uses formatting from adjacent cell when it should not Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: r...@jwcca.com Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.3.2 release Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice Can't provide a screenshot, this happens haphazardly. If the cell to the left has a 'not white' background and a value is entered into the current cell which has a white background, upon pressing enter, the current cell's background colour now matches the cell to the left. It's also happened that the type is copied, i.e. if entering a time into a column formatted as Time = hh:mm and the column to the left is formatted as Date = -mm-dd nn then the entered value of 13:22 is formatted as a Date which is really wrong since no one uses 13:32 as a Date, and the system date format is h:m:s. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71943] New: Crashes intermittently when adding a formula to a cell
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71943 Priority: medium Bug ID: 71943 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Crashes intermittently when adding a formula to a cell Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: david_ly...@blueyonder.co.uk Hardware: x86 (IA32) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.5.2 release Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 89687 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=89687action=edit Spreadsheet that exhibits this bug I have a fairly large and very complex spreadsheet (attached): Number of sheets 12 Number of cells 123562 Number of pages 55 size 1.23 Mb much calculation (typically about 200 cells aren't formulas) and many array formulas. Often, but not always, when I add a formula to this spreadsheet, CALC crashes saying Calc has an unexpected error and is saving. I can then recover the spreadsheet and adding the new formula now works. There appears to be no dump or other information to aid diagnosis. LibreOffice crashed with the attached spreadsheet and message. Due to an unexpected error, LibreOffice crashed. All the files you are working on will be saved now. The next time LibreOffice is launched, your files will be recovered automatically. This was run from a command prompt: there were no messages in the command prompt. Before the crash, I entered the formula: =OFFSET($AG$36,ROW()-36,ROW()-36) into cell W.J36. It crashes only when I add a formula and enter it (and not always then). I recovered the spreadsheet and re-entered the formula: this time it worked. I am running 4.0.5.2 on Windows. These are my memory options: Undo Number of steps 20 Graphics cache Use for LibreOffice 256MB Memory per object 5.0 MB Remove from memory after 00:10 hh:mm Cache for inserted objects Number of objects 50 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53975 --- Comment #3 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com --- So I think what he means for step #3 is the following: 1. View -- Toolbars -- Customize -- New 2. Give it a name such as macros 3. Click ok 4. Click Add and select 6 items (click add for 6 different ones) 5. Then close 6. Go through the list of 6 items and select Modify -- Change Icon 7. Try to find the icons that he used (no clue if that's important). I think that is step 3 (usually Rainer was a lot better about this stuff, I agree step 3 is a bit cryptic) Thanks Florian! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
