[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72232] FORMATTING: This file open in MS Office 2007 with 11 columns
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72232 Ady changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #3 from Ady --- The expression “recent version” is not clear enough (or at all) so to track down the problem. At least a specific version should be mentioned, and if there is a related known bug report and/or patch, then those also should be mentioned. In case a newer version solved the problem, but there is no known patch, this report should be marked as WORKSFORME, not FIXED (which Urmas did without providing any details to any relevant patch nor version). Hence, I am reopening this bug report back as UNCONFIRMED. Whoever wants to close this bug report again, please present the minimum required details and then change the status accordingly. Steps to reproduce: 1/ open a new spreadsheet 2/ in A1 type A, in B1 type B 3/ in A2 type 1 and propagate until A11 4/ in B2 type -24 and propagate until B11 (if you do not like -24 you can choose another value ;-) ) 5/ select A1:B11 and click the Chart button, keep all defaults and click Finish button 6/ click outside the chart to deselect it 7/ double click on the chart, then click on the legend 8/ here is the difficult part: click on the "Legend key" for B, that is the small red square, then hit the delete key ==> the second data series is removed from the chart. Note: the removal of the legend for the second data series can be undone until the chart has not been deselected. I am not sure if that is a bug because I do not know any good reason to want to remove a part of the legend. Hiding the legend, why not, but, IMHO, showing a partial legend is not a good idea. So I suggest to close this bug report as NOTABUG. Markus, do you agree ? Best regards. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62531] LibreOffice CMIS checkout does not work when using Alfresco atom endpoint
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62531 --- Comment #15 from Marcus Svensson --- I've been investigating this some more. This might have something to do with libcmis and not libreoffice. I setup a proxy using charles through which I routed all libreoffice requests through to be able to see what was wrong. I was using Alfresco enterprise 4.2.0, but the same results can probably be reproduced in earlier versions. Using the old legacy endpoint /alfresco/service/cmis checking out will work using atom. This is because the returned cmis document on the checkout request is different to what is returned in the newer endpoints /alfresco/cmisatom (now also deprecated as of 4.2) and /alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.0/atom. The newer endpoints also include information about relationships to other objects as specified in the cmis spec. Below is a snippet of the 5th request made on a checkout to the Alfresco server, the first one is on the working legacy endpoint, and the second is the failing newer endpoint. 1. http://localhost:8080/alfresco/service/cmis/s/workspace:SpacesStore/arg/p?path=%2FSites%2Flibreoffice-test%2FdocumentLibrary%2FTest%20document%20%28Working%20Copy%29.odt&filter=&includeAllowableActions=true&includePolicyIds=&includeRelationships=&includeACL=&renditionFilter= 2. http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmisatom/be392f77-bc41-4794-9367-f5b1cf00984b/path?path=%2FSites%2Flibreoffice-test%2FdocumentLibrary%2F76%7Cworkspace%3A%2FSpacesStore%2F5d8908d9-1b4a-4265-b1de-5d7244fcea70%7Cworkspace%3A%2FSpacesStore%2F3885d9a2-0540-41ab-810a-38ccb1b160d6%7C%7Bhttp%3A%2Fwww.alfresco.org%2Fmodel%2Fcontent%2F1.0%7Dworkingcopylink&filter=&includeAllowableActions=true&includeACL=&includePolicyIds=&includeRelationships=&renditionFilter= What is different in these two is the path argument. Libcmis parses the file name (cmis:name property from the response atom xml) and appends it to the path to the document to open. In the legacy response there is only one cmis:name property available in the xml which is equal to the file name: ... Test document (Working Copy).odt ... In the new endpoints there can be several occurances of this property in different parts of the response xml such as: ... Test document (Working Copy).odt ... 75|workspace://SpacesStore/3885d9a2-0540-41ab-810a-38ccb1b160d6|workspace://SpacesStore/5d8908d9-1b4a-4265-b1de-5d7244fcea70|{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}original ... 76|workspace://SpacesStore/5d8908d9-1b4a-4265-b1de-5d7244fcea70|workspace://SpacesStore/3885d9a2-0540-41ab-810a-38ccb1b160d6|{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}workingcopylink >From what I could find in the source code of libcmis in it seems that it does not select the correct occurance of the cmis:name property, it uses the last found in the document (which is the one found in the cmis:relationship) which is not correct. This is also why you will see 1.0}workingcopylink in the title bar in libreoffice when you check out a document. My C++ is a bit rusty, so I'm not sure that I'm able to fix this in an quick way, perhaps someone else could look at it? It would be pretty easy I guess to write a test case in the libcmis module which reproduce this error. I've attached logs of the requests made to Alfresco and the resulting atom response on the checkout action. I hope my investigation is useful! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72272] New: loop closing Writer document after read error
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72272 Priority: medium Bug ID: 72272 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: loop closing Writer document after read error Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: lo_b...@iseries-guru.com Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice After I reproduce bug 72150, I tried to close my document, discarding the changes. LibreOffice went into an infinite loop. To reproduce: (1) Download the (soon-to-be) attached archive of two .odt files and unpack it in any convenient directory. (2) Execute soffice, naming the extracted bug_072150b.odt on the command line. The program displays Writer window bug_071520b.odt; the document has only an image. (3) Click below the image. The program removes the handles from the image and the caret appears at the left end of the line below the image. (4) Take menu options Insert > File. The program presents dialog Insert. (5) Navigate to the extracted file bug_071520a.odt and click . The program closes the dialog, returns focus to window bug_071520a.odt, and displays error message: Read-Error. Error reading file. (This message is the subject of bug 72150.) (6) Click . The program closes the message dialog and returns focus to window bug_072150b.odt; the document-modified flag is set. (7) Take menu options File > Close. The program presents dialog "Save document?". (8) Click . Program action expected: to close window bug_072150b.odt and display Start Center. Program action observed: the dialog box is blanked and the program pegs the CPU for as long as I have had patience to wait; the Start Center does not appear. These observations are made from master commit 3d7d662, fetched 2013-11-19, configured with: --enable-option-checking=fatal --enable-dbgutil --enable-crashdump --without-system-postgresql --without-myspell-dicts --with-extra-buildid --without-doxygen --with-external-tar=/home/terry/lo_hacking/git/src built and executing on debian wheezy: $ uname -a Linux debian 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.51-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux $ gcc --version gcc (Debian 4.7.2-5) 4.7.2 Copyright (C) 2012 Free Software Foundation, Inc. It did not display an error message for the attempt to insert bug_072150a.odt, but neither did it do the requested insertion. (*) Version "latest" of the 40+ bibisect repository, upon File > Close, promptly displayed the Start Center.
