https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39956 --- Comment #28 from DavidO d.ostrov...@gmx.de --- (In reply to comment #27) At this point, I'd have no concern about dumping the JAB based AT, and putting any additional effort into refining the XAccessible roles and keyboard interface with the native bridge. I have working IA2 based AT verified with latest NVDA and Delete JAB patch applied [1]. Tested on Win7 64 bit, MSVC 2010, debug build. Can we have a go for merging that patch to master? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 44812] Sort ignores links from local url buttons to cells in the sorted range
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44812 --- Comment #4 from andréb and...@laposte.net --- Created attachment 90293 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90293action=edit sample of problem This shows the problem. If the col-1 is sorted (the initial state), each button is linked to a word beginning with the first 3 letters displayed on the button. If col-2 is sorted, each button remains linked to the same location, and does not move with the cell content. Easily seen, as no button points to a word beginning with the first 3 letters. If col-1 is again sorted (returning to the initial state), each button again is linked ot a word beginning with the first 3 letters, as the cells have returned to their initial position, and the links did not move with the content. One use case for this would be a table where content is regularly added randomly, and then table is sorted. The buttons would no longer point to the same cell content. Note that if lines (or colomns) were inserted in the correct location, then the links would move with the insertion, and would continue to point to the correct cell content. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44812 --- Comment #5 from andréb and...@laposte.net --- (In reply to comment #3) Note: the behavior of sorting may depend on the way you define your links. Generally you should use HYPERLINK() function. It is defined by the formula + button definition controls, presumably using the hyperlink function behind the scenes. Note that the action for defining a hyperlink is strangely called open a page web (« Ouvrir la page web ») instead of a more appropriate open a hyperlink or better define a hyperlink I would be very surprised if it is not usually used for local references. As readily seen in the definitions, all the links are defined relative to the current sheet, in the form of #a10 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30571 --- Comment #26 from J. A. jad...@gmail.com --- When using vertical toolbars, the Font Name and Font Size (and probably other) buttons do not work as triggers for drop-down menus, as they do in horizontal mode. Font Name at least opens the Character dialogue, which is not the expected behavior. Font Size does nothing at all. Feels like vertical toolbar users are second-class citizens, which is curious given the prevalence of small widescreen monitors on laptops in which vertical space is at a premium and two-up is not practical. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 71511] Writer no longer uses Text and Background Colours from Windows High-Contrast theme for displaying document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71511 --- Comment #6 from niccig...@hotmail.com --- @bfoman: Thanks for the heads up on those mailing lists. I wasn't aware of the UX-Advice and Accessibility mailing lists. I will most likely post to them in due course. UI developers need to be aware of these accessibility issues for visually impaired users. Default UI colours are fine, as long as two things are taken into consideration. 1. Enabling overriding UI colours with the underlying Accessibility theme of the host operating system, if one is active. LibreOffice has done this well in the past. Now it is broken in this respect. 2. Enabling visually impaired users to customise to UI look and colours as much as possible. In the specific case of visual stress/irlen syndrome, being able to customise colours (especially background and text colours) to precise RGB values is very important. Hard coding a white background in a UI is one of the worst things a UI developer can do for those with Visual Stress. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Which brings us a step closer to getting rid of at least some of them in favour of the defaults b) expand the 0x02 in SwTxtNode::BuildConversionMap like we do for fields so Good side effect is our word count and character count now take into account the actual footnote indicator text, as does our cursor travelling. Although the images appear crisp on the screen, they are blurry in the PDF. My screen is 96 DPI. I use the default screenshot tool (gnome-screenshot), which saves images at 72 DPI. I am running LibreOffice 4.1.3.2 (from the LibreOffice ppa) on Ubuntu 12.04. I was experiencing the same issue on the LibreOffice version packaged with Ubuntu 12.04. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new document 2a. Take a screenshot of a part of the screen, copy to clipboard and paste in the document. OR 2b. Take a screenshot of a part of the screen, save image to a file, open image with GIMP to scale to 96 DPI (from 72 DPI), insert picture in document OR 2c. Take a screenshot of a part of the screen, save image to a file, insert picture in document and scale to 75% 3. Images are crisp on the screen. Export to PDF. 4. Images are blurry in the PDF.
