[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72465] CONFIGURATION: Fails to apply user selected icon theme in toolbars and menus, all LO apps.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72465 --- Comment #2 from megami...@yahoo.com --- Appears to be related to the colour palette used in the window manager (button colour in particular). More testing: Did a fresh profile startup (renamed ~/.config/libreoffice to ~/.config/libreoffice-orig and restarted 4.1.3). Same result: 'High contrast' icons set was used by default (instead of Crystal or Galaxy) and nothing changes when I seleted a different set of icons in tools/options/view. However, when using a theme with lighter coloured panels like Adwaita, CleanIce or CleanIce Dark (which uses dark grey panels, but not very dark), the icons could be changed and the change saved between sessions. When switching to a theme with very dark or black panels (like CleanIce Marble or Blackbird) then the LO apps *automatically* switched to High contrast icons and kept this setting regardless of what I choose. This happened both when a LO app was open at the time of the colour scheme switch and when the program was opened after the scheme change. Even if the icon set is automatically changed when a dark scheme is applied, the change is saved - 'High copntrast' is used after closing and opening the application and even if the system colour scheme has been reverted to a light scheme in the meantime. I reproduced this on two different linux machines (Ubuntu 12.10 and SuSE 12.3), both using XFCE 4.10 and LO 4.1.3. When other window manager was used instead of XFCE (Gnome 3 or Window Maker), the problem was not present, but again, I was *not* using dark themes under these WMs. This is why people could not reproduce it under default Gnome - looks like it meeds a dark theme to happen. It seems to be related to the panel/button colour used by the system palette. It is not related to the text, window background or menu background colours - black menus or dark window backgrounds alone do not trigger the behaviour. Regarding the other issue (default/automatic colours for text and windows do not match system's scheme), the colours in the LO apps remained the same (window - white, text - black) at all times, regardless of what the system palette was. I believe that this is a bug in LO - someone has set the defaults to white and black instead of using the system colour vars - but might be something else. However, once changed, the change is saved. It is important to recall that neither of these issues were present with LO 3.6.2 that came with both distros used for tests, so I believe they are LO-induced rather than WM-induced. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I myself have examined over hexaeditor. The body of work is completely empty. - In the process of transcription end ODT / ZIP system can not open the zip archive. Hexaeditor shows that there is not one bit and I got it about 35 kilobytes - I do not do unnecessary alarm, but it may be a mistake LO. It is very annoying. Few people use the option save a copy, which should seek to avoid. Perhaps it would be sufficient to set the default save a copy and give the opportunity to turn this off. Start LibreOffice 2. File Open WG40-WriterGuideLO 3. Edit Find 4. Type protect and then the Down Arrow 5. It reaches the first recurrence of protect word in Page 0 - TOC (3rd page) 6. Push Up Arrow in Find Bar 7. It gives the warning to proceed searching from the bottom 8. Press YES 9. It look like it found another recurrence at the bottom, but without moving the view to the point of finding 10. Push Up Arrow again in Find Bar 11. Cycle from point 9. about 6 times until seeing the view moving 12. Press Down Arrow in Find Bar 13. It look like it found another recurrence at the bottom, but without moving the view to the point of finding 14. Cycle from point 9. about 6 times until having the warning to continue searching from the top It looks like there are problems managing last pages (Index), or I though also some problem may arise jumping in and out of tables, which determines the appearing and disappearing of the Table Toolbar with a delay for that… I've noticed same behaviors using Edit Find Replace (with Backwards advanced option checked when needed) I have an iMac 27 late 2009 with a (self made) Fusion Drive (128GB SSD + 3TB HDD) and I had already installed all this before installing this Beta: + LibreOffice Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a with Italian Package + Sun OpenOffice.org 3.2.0 - OOO320m12 (Build:9483) - almost never used + NeoOffice 3.1.2 Patch 9 - never used Finally I can state that I get the same problem with LibO 4.1.3.2. In the Layouts pane of the sidebar in LO4.2Beta2 the old and outdated look of the mouseover effect is used (black rectangles on mouseover as introduced in OpenOffice.org 2.0), see the first attached screenshot (you don't see the tooltips in the screenshot). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72504] EDITING: Unable to EDIT .odb file on server with Ubuntu 13.10 only
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72504 --- Comment #2 from triumphg...@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #1) Hi, (In reply to comment #0) ODB file is located on server (smb) share (x_workdisk on 192.168.1.2), which gets mounted in my filesystem. How do you mount it? Using GUI. Bookmarked in Files, so clicking on bookmark mounts and opens folder. Originally as Connect to Server. I've been doing it the same way for years. The database can be opened and edited on other computers running Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10. With LibreOffice 4.1, or with an older version? With older version (3.5.7.2) on 12.04. My PC could also open and edit the ODB file when running Ubuntu 13.04 (and the version of LibreOffice that came with that version of OS). Which is version 4.0 I guess. What happens if you open it on this PC from the command line (like 'libreoffice smb://192.168.1.2/share_name/doc_name.odb')? Exactly the same thing. Main database window opens OK, double-click on a table or form to open it, and the same error message is displayed. LibreOffice 4.1.2.3 on my PC is able to open and edit ODS and ODT files that are located in the same folder on the server. The BASIC macro VaryColors is used to turn the attribute DataSeries.VaryColorsbyPoint to TRUE. This creates a legend where each point has a different color. However, the points in the scatterchart are not recolored: each retains the default color. The expected behavior would be vary point colors so as to match the data points to the colors given in the legend. UPDATE while recreating: behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes, cycling the VaryColorsbyPoints flag (edit VaryColors macro and rerun) will set the legend to a single color and the points to multiple colors; sometimes it will create the correct behavior of multiple matching colors for both legend and points. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37678] Bitmap export resolution limited to 97 dpi
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37678 --- Comment #17 from Owen Genat owen.ge...@gmail.com --- Created attachment 90509 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=90509action=edit BMP, GIF, JPG, PBM, PNG, and PPM exports at 96dpi and 300dpi from ODGs. Here is a bit more information on this problem. Of the raster file types available via File Export only BMP, GIF, JPG, PBM, PNG, and PPM offer the Options dialog where dimension and resolution can be adjusted. As Alexandr indicates in comment #11 this problem is not restricted to BMP. The workaround suggested by Regina in comment #12 (set the resolution and then subsequently adjust the dimension) works for shapes (attached square ODG+rasters) but is not effective for lines: the resultant files produced are basically identical e.g., the attached line graphics are produced from the one inch line ODG provided in attachment 47239. To further complicate matters, as I indicated in comment #14 there currently appears to be a separate issue with the GIF and PNG filters not handling exporting of a line object under v4.1.3.2. The attached files indicate the results of exporting a one inch line and 1x1 inch square to the indicated raster formats under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 using v4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
