Hi Kohei,

It seems there is two different bugs.
* Bug described in comment #0
I can NOT reproduce if I revert to commit
6255be7ca294d350143290c343673f264f42220c
Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha0+

If I cherry-pick next commit 7333881bb7b04f7e4e2a28638024ae82a9c14e81
I CAN reproduce. Then I confirm suggestion of comment #4 and it affect 4.2.*

* Bug described in comment #9
This bug does NOT affect any version I tested around the previous commit.

Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha1
 Component: Writer
   Product: LibreOffice

If a text Frame is created with a background color and Transparency set to a
value greater than 0%, then saving and reloading the document make the frame
non-transparent, i.e., the transparency setting seems to not be saved.

This is a REGRESSION since 4.2 (the UI is different in 4.2 where transparency
is set in the Background tab, whereas in 4.3 there are separate Area and
Transparency tabs in the edit-Frame dialog).

Steps to reproduce:
1. In a text doc, select some text and do Insert->Frame, OK
2. Select the frame, Rightclick->Frame... set Area to a dark background color
and Transparency to 90%.
3. Save; Reload

Current behavior: The frame returns to opaque status

Expected behavior: Transparency setting should be preserved

No. Still after scrolling the Autofilter is missing.

It seems as if the filter is completely deleted - not only a display problem.

Hi Dino,

I have a some troubles in translating the screenshot you uploaded, so I might
be wrong:
It looks like you use a custom defined label (Utente, 8.4x8.3cm, 2colsx3rows).
Does creating a new document work when you do not connect to a source?
Knowing that narrows down the possible problem areas.

If it does work, the label definition and document generation seems to be OK
and the connection with your source becomes important (but difficult to test
for me).

If it does not work, can you provide me with the definition of your label form
(sizes, margins, positions, orientation, columns, rows)?

Marking as WFM - if you want to try on master feel free to install from here:

If you can reproduce with master - set to UNCONFIRMED and we'll see who else

It's because the equation is wrong. The way you have it you could have two
values (let's say you put in -10, it's both less than 0.05, and less than 0).
This is an incorrect formula. Please go to the user list or ask.libreoffice.org
to ask for help in how to correctly format the formula.

If it is still broken on master - set to UNCONFIRMED again and I'll try to test

ODP file with text anchored top left

In LibreOffice you need to change the text anchor which is top center by

If you choose top left, you get the same thing as MS-Powerpoint.

Select the form, right click and choose "Text".

This really is a tricky one as in general it seems to assume correctly (I still
don't get why anyone would ever want 20% to be treated as a text value). If a
user is setting a formula then they almost undoubtedly want 20% to be treated
as LibreOffice treats it and not how OpenOffice treats it (not sure if they
still do this).

Also just saved the file as a .xls and opened with Microsoft Excel and it looks
fine - so it looks like AOO might be the outlier not LibreOffice.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 48055] PRINTING: Printed blank page does not follow page format

2014-05-04 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48055

Yes, you are missing something. You are missing the "automatically
created blank pages". If you use a paragraph style that specifies an
odd page, and the previous page was also odd, then a blank even page
will be automatically created for printing. I attached a sample .odt
file and the .pdf created from LibreOffice (this shows what would be
printed). Look at the pdf and you will see the automatically created
blank pages with no heading nor footer. OpenOffice has the same problem
and there have been many complaints about it. The ideal would be to
have a page style specifically for automatically created blank pages.

LibreOffice can overflow the text with the text centralized, as you show.
But it cannot align the text with the left or right end of the text being
fitted to the left or right end of the shape (without word-wrapping).

I added the sample made by PowerPoint (attachment 98433) and its screenshot
(attachment 98434).

So far, all's well with the new build. It'll take a couple of days for me to
cycle through all my usual manipulations of the two large spreadsheets I use
fairly constantly, then I'll know much more. But there've been no problems so
far! Nice.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60338

The described behauviour of the attached document might be caused by codes like
this (from tempfile.c):

mode_t old_mode = umask(077);

osl_error = osl_openFile(
tmp_file_url,
file_handle,
osl_File_OpenFlag_Read |
osl_File_OpenFlag_Write |
osl_File_OpenFlag_Create);

umask(old_mode)

Thread1 sets the umask to 077 and stores the actual umask in old_mode, then
control switches to another thread which as well stores the actual umask (now
077), then thread1 restores the umask to old_mode, then thread2 restores it to
077, and the original umask is gone forever.

I normally lost umask around file 1200, but after synchronizing the calls to
umask I succedded to export ~3500 pdfs with rw-r--r-- (I set umask to 022), so
there might be other similar code fragments.

Gerry, if you insert a svg in draw and select "break" from the context menu it
is editable.

There has been a problem with breaking the graphic such that parts of the
graphic disappear after breaking. But with my recent build this problem does
not exist anymore. However I can't tell which commit fixed this bug.

I reopen this bug, because the bug is about the problem that File->Open an SVG
does not import the SVG text. Unfortunately, this problem is not solved.

To summarize the problem, I quote Regina from comment 17:

"The text is there, if you insert the *.svg image into a Draw document, but it
is missing, if you use File > Open. This is a LO only problem, in AOO the text
is there also in case of File > Open."

BTW, only via Open->File, the SVG is fully editable in LO. Being able to
properly "open" an SVG is important.

I don't mark the bug as resolved, since it can happen with a given profile.

At least, deleting the profile is a workaround.

Easy to configure. With AutoCorrection the cumbersome Catalogue, which looks
untouched since Marco Börries created it, would become obsolete.
Therefore AutoCorrection and Unicode belong together IMHO, and are the logical
evolution.
Comparison:
Math: int from{1} to{ infinity } {{1} over {x^2}} dx = 1
Word: ∫_1^∞▒1/x^2 dx=1

Thank you for the reminder. I did not see this error message anymore since a
long time. Closing as WorksForMe.
Verified with LibO 4.2.5.0.0+ and with the master under Ubuntu 14.04 x86-64
(Unity window manager).
>
> If so, what are the exact repro steps? e.g. how do I "launch LO in a

Under Linux: open a terminal (ctrl+alt+T under Ubuntu) and type "libreoffice"
for the current stable version installed on your system. For another version
(parallel installation for example) type the complete path of the executable.

Best regards. JBF

Now I don't see any problems except the font under logo. For LO 4.0.0 the
difference was obvious. Also checked in LO 3.6. The presentation is like LO

Really the font under logo is a blot but not critical like the issue for LO
4.0.0.

3.6 hidden - preserved 3.6.0.beta0 because this is the "prebibisect" version
(might change the name or add a new version but I want feedback from QA list.

4.0 - going to email lists (dev and QA) to see if anyone sees a reason to keep.
Because 4.0 had major change we had quite a few bugs creep into the code and
because version reflects oldest version, I'd hate to annoy a dev or QA person
trying to set a correct version :)

So right now - "kind of fixed" ;) Thanks Tommy and FOSS
