[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78866] EDITING: Find goes to wrong set of cells
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78866 --- Comment #4 from bryanfr...@hotmail.com --- "I think the right in this case is notabug." Here's were a "slippery slope argument" can be used... let's call everything that can be fixed by deleting the configuration files notabug... even if it was something our program screwed up on, and happens to everybody. I'm not saying this particular bug affected anyone besides me. But that calling everything that can be fixed by deleting a (or the) configuration file(s) "notabug"(or even "fixed")* might not be the best way to go about things. "notabug" sounds like saying it's supposed to work like this. I doubt 'find' was supposed to go to unmatching cells. Perhaps adding an option called something like "resolved" "Workaround"**, or something like that. This "Workaround" could even have common sub choices like: "reinstalled", "deleted configuration file(s)", "other", etc... *("fixed" implies the cause/source of the problem was found and corrected) **("workaround" implies the cause/source of the problem may or may not have been found, but something that can deal with the issue has) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78908] no frame background images after loading particular ODF document
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78908 --- Comment #3 from Miklos Vajna --- Aha, it seems that the bug is about how a bitmap background and transparency interacts. In the past, style:background-transparency (which is 100%, e.g. fully transparent) was ignored, and in case the user set a (semi-)transparent background e.g. to 90%, then the child style:background-image's draw:opacity attribute was set to 100-value, so "10%" in this case. The new behavior is incompatible (though it's consistent with drawinglayer shapes): it parses style:background-transparency, that's how in the document the background bitmap is not visible. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 78924] New: UI: Regression: toolbars have different heights
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78924 Priority: medium Bug ID: 78924 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: UI: Regression: toolbars have different heights Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux (All) Reporter: sergio.calleg...@gmail.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA PossibleRegression Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.0.4 release Component: Drawing Product: LibreOffice Issue also affects impress in addition to draw. Issue has been tested with the kde integration and without the gnome integration packages on kubuntu 14.04, using the libreoffice packages distributed on the libreoffice site (not the distro ones). Problem description: Since LibO 4.2 the 'line and filling toolbar' and the 'text formatting toolbar' have slightly different heights (maybe 1-2 pixels). Up to LibO 4.1 all toolbars had exactly the same height. As a consequence, when one needs to draw something that is just a bit complex, the drawing continuously jumps up and down by a few pixels, whenever one selects or unselects text. This is very annoying, you feel like trying to prepare a drawing while standing on the tube since the pictures moves under your eyes. The issue is present with the automatic and small settings for the icon sizes and not with the large icon size. I suspect that it may also manifest differently depending on the screen resolution, etc. However, my point of view is that the toolbars should have a fixed height, no matter what. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 76463] Expose fielded date values to direct formatting of the Format -> Change case menu
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76463 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu See Also||https://bugs.freedesktop.or ||g/show_bug.cgi?id=66914 Summary|Add a character effect to |Expose fielded date values |capitalize the first letter |to direct formatting of the |of a sentence |Format -> Change case menu Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote --- Fielded dates like the example receive autoformat/completion The default lowercase formatting in fr local seems correct for date inputs in that local. With the specific date code (from https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Number_Format_Codes ) of J - I get the correct date entry for French language use-- e.g. "lundi 19 mai" Or, working in en-US if I open a new document, and insert a Field then apply the Date formatting code of D - I get the expected capitalization -- e.g. "Monday, 19 May" So the auto-formatting and completion is correct and WAD. Also, most formatting actions from the Formatting tool bar or the F11 Formats & Style dialog seem to apply to the fielded date without issue. But, can not use the actions from the Format -> Change case menu, i.e. Sentence case, lower case, upper case, Capitalize every word, or toggle case against dates inserted into these fields. The enhancement would be ability to apply a capitalization style to format the fielded date data. Related to bug 66914--to integrate fielded data into paragraph formatting--but here would be to expose fielded date entry to formatting actions not currently available to use. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
