https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79845 Priority: medium Bug ID: 79845 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Mac OS X mdimporter for .odt files doesn't import all text Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: k...@azeotrope.org Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.4.2 release Component: Libreoffice Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 100760 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=100760action=edit Text after the tab (Column two text) does not get indexed Mac OS X 10.9.3 LibreOffice Version: 4.2.4.2 (64-bit) Build ID: 63150712c6d317d27ce2db16eb94c2f3d7b699f8 It seems that the mdimporter is skipping text on a line after a tab character. E.g., if I create a new Text document with the contents Column one text[tab]Column two text[paragraph]Some other text (see attached document), then run: mdimport -d 2 -g /Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/Library/Spotlight/OOoSpotlightImporter.mdimporter mdimporter_test.odt I get kMDItemTextContent = Column one text Some other text;, and a Spotlight search for Column two does not find the document. However, if I do: mdimport -d 2 -g /System/Library/Spotlight/RichText.mdimporter mdimporter_test.odt It says kMDItemTextContent = Column one text\tColumn two text\nSome other text\n\n;, and a search for Column two does find the document. As a side note, probably unrelated, mdimport -d 1 mdimporter_test.odt says Imported '/Users/khym/Desktop/mdimporter_test.odt' of type 'org.oasis-open.opendocument.text' with plugIn /System/Library/Spotlight/RichText.mdimporter. I.e., it's not using OOoSpotlightImporter unless I force it to with -g... isn't it supposed to default to OOoSpotlightImporter rather than RichText? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 79847] New: Impress listens to the world by default
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79847 Priority: medium Bug ID: 79847 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Impress listens to the world by default Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: r...@debian.org Hardware: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.4.2 release Component: Impress Remote Product: LibreOffice See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=749770: --- snip --- Package: libreoffice-impress Version: 1:4.2.4-3 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Hello, the Impress Remote (see e.g. https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=org.libreoffice.impressremote) is enabled by default, making LibreOffice listen to the world. Additionaly, this feature is difficult to turn off (Impress must be started to get into Options, meaning you can't disable socket binding without actually binding) How to reproduce: 1. Start Impress 2. Observe 'netstat -tulpn | grep office' or telnet localhost 1599 tcp0 0 0.0.0.0:15990.0.0.0:* LISTEN 6513/soffice.bin udp0 0 0.0.0.0:15980.0.0.0:* 6513/soffice.bin How to turn off: 1. Start Impress. This unfortunately enables the listening immediately. 2. Tools - Options - Impress - General - [ ] Enable remote control I think (at least desktop) applications shouldn't accept connections from the internet by default. --- snip --- While it actually is easily disabeable (although it definitely listens until you do so), I *do* think he has a point. It shouldn't listen per default. Maybe we should get a config/UI option for avahi? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: michael.me...@collabora.com Hardware: Other Status: NEW Version: 4.2.4.1 rc Component: Libreoffice Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 100769 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=100769action=edit patch hacking out legacy stuff. This patch removes the SfxItemPool Load/Save - to SvStream - which gums up our code with a number of rather odd binary file format residue pieces. Nominally these are used for EditEng copy/paste - but - strangely, when compiled without them copying shapes from draw to/from another draw with style attributes etc. appears to work just fine. Unclear what's going on. A bit of surgery / debugging is needed in: ImpEditEngine::CreateTransferable I suspect, and also OutlinerView::Read( SvStream rInput and similar places where I've done a partial cut. Nevertheless libreoffice compiles rather nicely with this, and (potentially) it frees us of some evil / old bloat. Thoughts appreciated; I guess its rather easy to accelerate SfxItemPool without having to wrestle with this mess ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Embedded HSQLDB (v1.8)Subform master/slave fields (i.e foreign keys) ignored under 4.3.0.0beta2 Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit. A regression from LO 4.2 1. open the form FoodTypeFromTables. Note that the correct type field entry is present. 2. navigate to the next record. Expected behaviour: type field is updated to reflect the type of field. Observed behaviour: type field remains blank. The food table is joined to the type table by a foreign key. When the food.type_id and type.id fields are used in a subform to form a Master/Slave field relationship the type field in the FoodTypeFromTables is not updated when moving from record to record with the navigator arrows or typing a record number directly into the navigators record number field. Yes i tested 3.3.0, as i mentioned in comment 1. :) As for OSX, it would be interesting to see whether NeoOffice has this functionality. If it has never worked in any version of OOo / LO / NeoOffice, it should remain a RFE, IMHO. The first place i could test that ctrl+[ or ctrl+] work at all was in 3.6.7, as its dont work in 3.3.0.
