Liberation Serif and Liberation Sans are the default fonts used in Tools Options LibreOffice Writer Basic Fonts (Western) even if Times New Roman and Arial are present. But with Basic Fonts (Asian), it defaults to proprietary Simsun and Microsoft YaHei if available rather than Droid Sans and with Basic Fonts (CTL), it defaults to proprietary Tahoma if available rather than DejaVu Sans. This issue is related to Netbeans IDE (http://netbeans.org/). I use the Netbeans PHP version 7.3. When shutting down Netbeans, the problem with LO causing high load is gone. Please consider changing Formula arguments to English when Formulas are *deliberately* set to English by the user. Repeating what is argued in bug report #65671 If a user selects the Use English function names (under Tools Options LibreOffice Calc Formula) then it is because he/she is used to typing formulas in English. In this situation it doesn't make sense that valid arguments are expected in the language defined in Locale Settings. I add to this that Outputs should also be in English. On my linux mint 13 (equivalent to ubuntu 12.04) installation, libreoffice defaults to using the droid font for the chinese interface, which is the package fonts-droid version 20101110+git-2. As can be seen in the previously attached screenshot, it doesnt render all the chinese characters, which i'm assuming is why the dialog takes so long to load. When i installed the ttf-wqy-zenhei package version 0.9.45, it took over rendering the text for the UI and all the chinese characters were there and the dialog opened in 1 second. Expected behaviour: The text copied in step (1) is pasted into the Find edit field, because it has the focus. I checked the sha1sum and it was correct. Previoulsy the sha256 was correct. On install many of the packages failed with the message: unpack error for libobasis_4.2-core05-4.2.5.2-2.x86_64. I just stopped there and reinstalled 4.2.4.2 on my system. All text disappears. Version 4.2.3.3 works fine though.
