[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81994] New: Copying a Graph from Excel to Impress causes data loss once printed.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81994 Priority: medium Bug ID: 81994 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Copying a Graph from Excel to Impress causes data loss once printed. Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: for...@gmail.com Hardware: x86 (IA32) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.3.0.4 release Component: Libreoffice Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 103793 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=103793&action=edit Graph imported from excel The issue is when i try and copy a graph created in Excel to LO Impress data is missing once printed. It initial looks fine as data has been copied across and can be viewable on the screen. The issue arises when you then go to print or export to pdf the presentation. Basically all the data on the graph is missing. I have also tried a Paste special as a Bitmap. This works better as when printed the data is retained. The only issue with the document then is the image is missing the bottom and right outline borders. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79332 --- Comment #9 from Kevin Suo --- (In reply to comment #8) > This is not a regression, not even a bug since it was never supported to > begin with. This is a serious issue because it causes data loss: Assume sheet1 has data, sheet2 has pivot. A user may delete sheet1 after he has draw the pivot, and when he looks at the pivot at this moment it has numbers. But when reopen he lost all the data! Before lost the user was not aware of it. If this is a feature request and could not be fixed in time, I think we should: make the pivot broken as soon as the user deletes sheet1. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 79422] EDITING: Calc sluggish after find and replace due to large selection of replaced cells
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79422 --- Comment #11 from Kohei Yoshida --- (In reply to comment #10) > Created attachment 103748 [details] > callrgind result Thanks! This helps. No need to use tar when compressing though; you can run bzip2 directly on the original file if you are only compressing a single file. That way kcachegrind can open the compressed data directly without you needing to uncompress the file first. Just for a quick tip. Now, the profile data suggests that the hot spot is ScRangeList::Join() which is interesting. This call is used probably while calculating the areas where the replacement occurred so that Calc can highlight those areas at the very end. Finding out why this becomes slow all of a sudden will lead us to the right direction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
