[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 82802] FORMATTING: custom conditional style
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82802 --- Comment #5 from Marcell Nemes --- Hi Sophie! Yes, it's a bit confusing, that you can only modify it if it was saved with at least one style applied to the conditional style. Even if you create it with some styles applied, and removing them later causes the unability to modify. I can imagine some scenarios when this occurs, like you make up your mind with some formatting, and have it closed when there are no styles applied at the moment. Styles should be able to be designed as conditional styles even after creating them. As I see this wouldn't cause any problem, because the conditional ones are still modifiable later, so why couldn't the normal ones be. More so, if you have the conditional style checked, it should mean that it's meant to be a conditional style, even if it has no styles applied to it. /This time I tried it with LO version 4.2.4.2 under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS./ Marcell -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82873 Priority: medium Bug ID: 82873 CC: libreoffice-ux-adv...@lists.freedesktop.org Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Default behaviour of inserting an image in a list Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: philip...@hotmail.com Hardware: Other Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: unspecified Component: ux-advise Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 104987 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=104987&action=edit how the bullet entries appeared By default, when you set the before and after text indentation to a paragraph, the inserted image will take up the non-indented part, but when only the before text indent is set, like in a bullet/number list or an indented section, the image is inserted above this section and takes up the full width of the page. Steps: 1) open new writer document 2) add a bullet entry 3) on the bullet line, add an image If the image is smaller than the width of the page, it will push the bullet entry to its right as if wrapping was set to after. If the image is larger than the page width, it will shrink the image and place it above the bullet line. Both are shown in the attached screenshot. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 82239] Graphics handling on scaling was changed
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82239 --- Comment #15 from thorsten.bran...@brace.de --- @jay: Picture 1 was made simply as showed by reducing the size of the frame. The picture size stays and you get the "second" frame if the frame is smaller then the picture. You are right, when using only relative to width it works, thanks. As said, I cannot reproduce Picture 2 any more (which really ticks me off). Picture 1 is also in that form not reproducible, however, as seen in the video you picture gets bigger than the frame it is in, which is a similar behaviour. I suspect actually with most of my LibreOffice problems serious memory management difficulties. I could reproduce some of the behaviour when I set the "Options -> Memory" settings to maximum values (I have plenty of RAM). Then the problem of picture 2 occurs under the following circumstances: - Insert picture - Scale picture (just a little bit) - Add description with frame - Click picture (usually "picture" shows sometimes on the first right click, sometimes I have to click something else and then redo) - Type->Scale->Relativ to, BUT there is an additional buttom "Automatic" which is selected but does not show always. IF THIS BUTTON is selected, picture 2 happens. As soon as I start the screen recording, I don't get this creepy button anymore... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 82802] FORMATTING: custom conditional style
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82802 sophie changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||gautier.sop...@gmail.com Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #4 from sophie --- Hi Marcell, in my tests yesterday it works even with a custom style, but I applied the condition inside the dialog box. Now I understand what you said, in fact, if you do not apply a condition during the creation of the style, it's not possible to modify it after saving the document because the conditional possibility is lost. On one hand I find it normal that if you don't apply a condition, the conditional style doesn't exist, on the other hand, the possibility to modify it once created should be offered. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 82857] FORMATTING: Formatted text in cell contents not replicated when another cell "targets" those contents
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82857 --- Comment #2 from Colin --- I agree that a formatted cell does not/should not carry its formatting into another referring cell because cells are their own discrete entities and should carry their own discrete attributes. Additionally, I would expect a copied cell to carry the attributes with it, but, the content's attributes are just as valid as any cell with a numerical basis and I wouldn't expect to refer to a numeric cell with 12345 in it and get 54321. Would you disagree? Also, is it significant whether other office suites are also flawed - surely the objective is to build a superior product not just an "also ran". However, I do accept that if the original spec was flawed then this particular facet may well be System Normal. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
