Make sure your windows 7 graphic environment is scaled to 100% following the steps below: 1. In Control Panel, click Appearance And Personalization. 2. Under the Display heading, click Make Text And Other Items Larger Or Smaller. 3. The default scaling options allow you to choose a 100-percent scale (the default), a 125-percent scale, or a 150-percent scale. To use one of these scaling options, make a selection, and then click Apply. 4. To choose a custom setting of between 100 and 500 percent, click Set Custom Text Size (DPI) in the left pane, and then use the Scale combo box to select or specify a scale. 5. You need to log off the user and then log on the user again for the changes to take effect. desktop B. Open the attached file and have a look at the logo in the upper left corner. Close the file. C. Now set your windows graphic env. scaling to 125% by following the steps as described before. D. Open up the attached file again. The Logo should disappear since the picture is cut back and scaled different. Therefore only a white picture can be seen instead of the logo. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84815] New: Presentation minimizer : new option for keeping lossless and jpeg original image file format
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84815 Bug ID: 84815 Summary: Presentation minimizer : new option for keeping lossless and jpeg original image file format Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.2.6.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Presentation Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jerome.bo...@wanadoo.fr Problem description: When I use the presentation minimizer, I have to choose whether the images are with a lossless compression file format or with a jpeg file format. However, documents may mix the image files formats. Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Current behavior: Sometimes, if you convert a png image into a jpeg, the file size is inflating. In most cases, if you convert jpeg images into png, the file size is inflating. Expected behavior: I would like a third option in order to keep the lossless and jpeg format but adapt the resolution in all cases. For example, if you have a document with a png image and a jpeg images, both will keep their original file format but their resolution would be possibly changed or they could be cropped, etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84809] New: EDITING:Draw/Presentation crashes if document contains a push button with small height
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84809 Bug ID: 84809 Summary: EDITING:Draw/Presentation crashes if document contains a push button with small height Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.3.2.2 release Hardware: Other OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: medium Component: Drawing Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: siya...@lan.com.ua Problem description: If Draw/Presentation document contains a push button with height smaller then 0.26" the application crashes and enters infinite recovery loop. This can happen either after opening of an existing document (created in LO 4.2.x) or by creating new document in LO 4.3.x and drawing a "narrow" push button. I've tried to reproduce this bug on several different Win7 and Win8 PCs. The bug appears to be stable. It first appeared in the first 4.3 release is has not been fixed until now. I've discovered this problem after upgrading from LO 4.2.6 when it turned out that many of my UI sketches made in Draw would not open in LO 4.3.x. After a range of experiments with my files it boiled down to a push button issue. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create new Draw Drawing; 2. Click "Push Button" button on the "Form Controls" toolbar; 3. Outline rectangle for the button to be added and make sure that the rectangle has small height (less then 0.26"); 4. Draw will crash after releasing mouse button. Current behavior: Program Crash Expected behavior: Add "push button" element to a document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84808] New: Date Formatting leads to change in values
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84808 Bug ID: 84808 Summary: Date Formatting leads to change in values Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.1.4.2 release Hardware: Other OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: des...@gmail.com I had a very bad experience which led to huge impact while formatting the date column in csv file using LibreOffice Calc. The csv file has around 4 recs with one of the column CREATE_DT having dates in the format MM/DD/. I used the format cell option (Right Click -> Format Cell -> Date) to change the format of the first cell in CREATE_DT column to English (AUS) -MM-DD. In order to apply this format change in the remaining 3 dates below, I simply double-clicked the bottom right corner of the first cell. Dates changed to English AUS format, but all the values are wrong. Some of them whose dates were 2014 in actual, changed to 2089!! To make things worse, I deployed it in Production, and things went haywire!! Please take this issue as a serious problem, because, if changing format changes the data, only few would trust LibreOffice Calc for serious assignments. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80810 --- Comment #16 from Thomas Krumbein --- I´ll just jump in because I got a similar question today. Customer uses MAC OS (I don´t know the exact version) and LibreOffice since 3 years. Now he has updated to LibO Version 4.2.6.2 and now all is Mail-merge documents doesn´t work any more. Reason: in former version LibO uses german translated field names - and all mail-merge fields are now fixed to these names. the actual version now uses englisch field-names - so merging is not possible. So, in reality they are not representative of the handling of Thumbnail views in the StartCenter. On Windows 7 sp1, 64-bit en-US with Version: 4.3.2.2 Build ID: edfb5295ba211bd31ad47d0bad0118690f76407d A .PPTX or .PPT file opened correctly in LibreOffice records a Thumbnail image into the users' registrymodifications.xcu as a recent document entry. That image is parsed and rendered in the Thumbnail view panel of the Start Center. That all functions correctly. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 80960] EDITING Opening file doesn't place the cursor on the last position of editing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80960 --- Comment #17 from Olibuntu --- (In reply to Jan Holesovsky from comment #3) > For the record, the last cursor position is stored in > > > in settings.xml. I saved a document in 4.3 and opened it with 4.2: the cursor was at the top although I saved it with a different cursor position. Then I moved the cursor somewhere else and saved the document in 4.2. After reopening the document in 4.2 the cursor was correctly at the stored position. Afterwards I compared the two instances of settings.xml and realized the following: In 4.2 the config items "ViewLeft" etc. were of type "int", whereas in 4.3 they were of type "long". (More precisely, all items of type "int" in 4.2 were of type "long" in 4.3.) Then, for the hack of it, I replaced all occurences of "int" with "long" and 4.2 opened the document at the right cursor position saved by 4.3 (although the display of pages was a bit bizarre).
