[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86904] Crashes/exits when clicking diagram button
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86904 --- Comment #9 from merike --- Yes, I did try renaming /user in AppData/Roaming/LibreOfficeDev (or a very similar name, not looking at it right now) and it still crashed after recreating that folder before my eyes. I also gave it a try in a Win7 virtual machine I have to see if it's only happening on one setup and it happened there too. Said virtual machine had never had dev build before so the profile had to be created for the first time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 80939] Mac OS X: LibreOffice windows are pixelated on Retina displays
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80939 --- Comment #37 from Dan --- That's what I was pointing out earlier. The 64-bit detection on the website does *NOT* work properly for the OS X platform and the 32-bit version is selected by default. That is why I tried to persuade the devs to: (a) fix the 32-bit version as well (as the fix seems to be VERY quick and easy); and/or (b) fix the website to default to the 64-bit version (may even be HARDCODED if the detection system does not work). I will not reopen the bug, but it should be looked into further; in fact, a new ticket should be opened for the website 32/64-bit detection logic, which is plainly flawed and makes this bug reappear time and again. In the current situation, the OS X public has to face an unnecessarily bad experience when trying to switch over to LO and it can dissuade potential new users. With the amount of OS X devices growing steadily, this market niche deserves the attention. There are many other OS X related bugs, but this one is entirely unnecessary, especially since it is a showstopper for most new users. [Hope I do not sound like a blinded Apple fanboy, these are just plain facts.] (In reply to plessard from comment #36) > (In reply to plessard from comment #35) > > (In reply to Robinson Tryon (qubit) from comment #15) > > > All of the OS X builds will require 10.8+ and be 64bit-only as of the next > > > Release Branch (4.4.x), so it might be best for all retina users to > > > upgrade > > > their OS now. > > > > > > Do we not detect 64bit OS X on the download page? https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86916 Bug ID: 86916 Summary: Functions, that use data from separate data sheet, disappears in Libre Office Calc after modification of data on the source sheet. Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.2.7.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Spreadsheet Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dmitry.kno...@gmail.com Created attachment 110326 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=110326&action=edit Sample file to test bug in action Libre Office Calc Functions are loosing the reference on adjusted Sheet after modification of data on that Sheet. This problem make almost impossible to use functions for inter-sheet calculations. Example: I have two sheets in my spreadsheet document. One sheet "Sheet1" whith raw numerical data, another sheet "Sheet2" with functions, that use the data from Sheet1. I wrote function in cell A2 of Sheet2 =Sheet1.A2+Sheet1.B2 Then I drugged data on Sheet1 from cell A1 to cell A6. After this the function on Sheet2 appeared as: =A2+B2 Attachment is the file from example before modification of Sheet1. To see bug in action you need just to check the original function on Sheet2; drug and drop the cell data on Sheet1 and then again check Sheet2 functions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86853] TOOLBAR: Addition of uno commands for Embossed and Engraved
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86853 --- Comment #3 from Jay Philips --- Hi Stew, (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #2) > Yes additional commands like this are needed, and assume the buttons for > these new .uno commands would be left unselected, on the Formatting toolbar > in this case. The intent in the future is to have an font effects split/group button that would have all the different font effect commands in it, so embossed and engraved would be in the drop down as well (attachment 103420). > To be available from the Visible buttons or Customize toolbar dialog? > Otherwise, I thought we were clearing away some the of the toolbar and menu > item crud. Once created, it would be hidden in the formatting toolbar for users to enable it if they wish until the split/group button is created. > Ask that because we seem to have an issue already with too many buttons > being assigned to specific toolbars and making the toolbar annoying to > configure. > > For example, with current master, in Writer Standard toolbar there are 59 > buttons and separators assigned to the Visible Buttons menu. With this many > items in the menu, it displays taller than my 1080 pixel monitor. The Visible Buttons menu has one major problem with it, it disappears after you enable/disable a single button (bug 85786). With this major problem, i always go into Customize Toolbar... if i need to enable/disable more than one button. Once that is solved, using the submenu would be simple to use. At my laptop's screen resolution of 1280x768, the 4.3 releases Visible Buttons menu is larger than the height of the screen. Many of these hidden entries will be going away once split/group buttons are created for them. I was hoping that it would have made it into 4.4, as they are part of my toolbar proposal (bug 81475), but that isnt likely. There are buttons that i've hidden as part of the proposal, and am awaiting the reaction from the public on the current changes in order to eliminate them from the toolbar. > Made more annoying bcz the down scroll button for the menu widget slips > under the Windows taskbar in full screen mode. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86506] LibreOffice Calc: References to fields on other sheets are lost.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86506 --- Comment #5 from Kaufman --- I have exactly the same problem, and it's driving me crazy. The same versions of LibreOffice and Ubuntu. It just started one day, and doesn't go away, no matter how many times I re-enter the correct formula. It just disappears in the middle of work. Saving the file under a different name doesn't help, and the file is now very large and a lot of efforts put in it, so I can't just toss it and start all over. Hey, maybe the file's size (number of sheets) is related to the problem - it didn't occur at the beginning. I'll try Terry's idea to download a fresh version of LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50421] UI: "Check for Updates" menu leads to an unusable dialog (shows "%PERCENT%")
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50421 --- Comment #32 from Christian Schroeder --- OK, so within a VirtualBox XP virtual machine (it's what I have) on a windows 7 host, I cleanly installed 4.3.2.2, typical install. I didn't create a desktop start link. Libreoffice had never been installed on this machine. After this installation, I immediately installed the requisite US English help pack. I then opened writer, let it go through its initial motions and allowed the writer window to appear. I executed "Check for Updates" which worked as expected, advising me that there was a new version of Libreoffice. I then closed all the applications and rebooted. After this, I installed 4.3.4.1 over top of 4.3.2.2, same settings as previous install, but now also specifying not to start Libreoffice at startup; this option was not available in the first install. I installed the requisite help pack, same type. I again opened writer, letting it go through its motions. At the earliest opportunity, I executed another "Check for Updates", at which time the %PERCENT% bug revealed itself. Even better(!), when I went to test the activity of the buttons in the dialog --- I hit "Download", I believe --- Libreoffice crashed! I was presented with the standard crash recovery dialog. After doing these things once, I deleted the virtual machine image and re-imported it so as to bring me back to step #1 exactly. I went through the motions again and reproduced the error exactly a second time.
